Q1. How and where was the mix recorded? Could you tell us about the idea behind the mix?
I recorded it at home using a turntable, an e&s mixer and ableton. I wanted to listen through to music I had come across recently and dig into the tracks deeper. I leaned more into the trippier sounding tracks with really nice sonics and "world-building" characteristics.

ターンテーブル、E&Sミキサー、abletonを使って自宅で録音しました。最近出会った音楽を聴いて、より深くトラックを掘り下げたいと思ったんだ。トリッピーなサウンドで、音質が良く、「世界観がある」楽曲に重点を置きました。

Live recording of my 2nd room performance at the Kajunga World stage for a midwest festival in July 2024.

RIYL 90s Jungle, IDM, Aphex Twin, ACID

This set was influenced by a Grant Wilson-Claridge (half of Rephlex Records) dj set for an early 2000s Rephlex label tour. Grant closed the night with ragga jungle and AFX Acid Jungle.

This is my attempt at connecting the dots across current Jungle styles in a mostly deep zone from 3XL to Future Retro / Tim Reaper to Sully and experimental regions between before the AFX drill n bass rinse out finish.

This set idea has been stewing in my brain for 20 years. Mad props to Kajunga Records for giving me a platform and live audience to make this happen!
