It had been a while since we'd thrown a 2020Vision Day / Night party in London. So the pressure was on.  Would people still remember us ?  Would the notorius English weather be kind to us ?  Could we still pull it off ?  

The answer to all these questions thankfully was yes.  

It had been raining hard for a week before the party but the skies cleared and the sun came out on Sunday morning of May 25th.  A beautiful crowd of people turned up at iCan studios in Hackney Wick, East London for the day session as Kag Katumba, The Reflex and Psychemagik took control of  the decks.

This mix was recorded live from my closing set at sunset. I've always loved that transition between day and night.  As the light fades your ears take over from your eyes and people tune in more closely to the music.  

The party continued until the sun came up again with Citizen,  PBR Streetgang and Greg Wilson in the main room with the Loco Vision cubes.  

Thanks to everyone who came to share the experience and LWE for their superb production.  

Next stop is Sonar Lab as the sun comes up over Sonar Festival on June 14/15th.

Let's take you back to 1998 to the legendary Living Room Club in South Beach, FL. At this point the Ovum party became the place to be at the Winter Music Conference and kicked the week off being on a Sunday Night. During this era, the conference was starting to rapidly grow, but the parties were still about hanging with your peers in the industry with a mixing of fans from around the world. During this time you could envision a mix from luminaries from all facets of the dance music world all coming together to dance and party with their friends. This is part three of a series of sets we look forward to bringing you over the next few weeks as we all come together during these difficult times. This is the final set from the main room of this legendary night at the Living Room. Doc Martin took over after a rare live set from Carl Craig as Paperclip People. Doc debuted Eddie Amador's House Music during this special closing set. We hope everyone has been enjoying these sets as much as we have sharing them with you. They clearly defined the sound of the era and still sound so fresh today.  We send our love to all of our fans and hope that you are safe. Much Love!

This is a winner! Proper bumpin, feel good, chunky, deep dancing music from the man known as @PandarOfficial aka Dan from down south (UK). He's producer, DJ and host of the excellent Meet Me Front Left show.

Dan connected with us via Instagram and we've been pinging things back and forth ever since. He's a happy soul, plays very good music and likes to keep a light hearted spin on his musical path. Much needed in a world of cut and paste  tech house, full sleeve tattoos and shit haircuts.

Dan's haircut is fine, but don't focus on that, just enjoy this delightful hour of music, it's straight out of a your favourite summer in Ibiza, with bass driven bangers and 90s licks. And it stands shoulder to shoulder with our other fine SESSIONS selections. Cheers Dan!
