BSV: Who is The PDC? 
THE PDC: The People’s Dance Collective is a South African born and raised producer / DJ that calls Melbourne / Naarm home. 

BSV: What kind of journey you prefer? 
THE PDC: PDC sets are energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics. I inhabit a space where throwback house bombs sit comfortably with electroclash and techno. 

BSV: Tell us something about Melbourne scene. 
THE PDC: Melbourne has a thriving urban electronic music scene. Australia has the most unique electronic music scene in the world. Imagine uninhabited wilderness for miles, and the best big name international underground DJs playing in this environment. This is what we call a "doof". The camp sites are often invaded by kangaroos. If it gets too hot there's usually a river or an ocean to cool down in.

BSV: So, you are connected with the nature? 
THE PDC: I guess this contact with nature in a party setting is a large reason why I try to infuse my productions with a tribal edge (bongos, bird noises, acid etc). 

BSV: This mixtape specifications? 
THE PDC: My sets tend to straddle house and some deeper melodic tracks. This set is a bit of a mixed bag, but I really wanted to showcase my latest releases in this context.

BSV: We noticed your upcoming @beatsoundvisions release here. Are you excited and why you decided to give it a ‘’90 Mile Beach’’ name? 
THE PDC: We ran a small music festival for a few years at a remote beach in Australia called “Beach Weekender” at 90 Mile Beach. The beach is an island that’s only accessible by boat. There is no infrastructure so we had to bring everything - food, water, speakers, generators, everything. It was like a survival festival, it wasn’t easy but it made it that much more special. This track is an ode to the illegal “bush doof” as we like to call it. Jake Hughes, the organiser is months away from opening Melbourne’s newest floating nightclub - “ATET” so the spirit of beach weekender lives on. Shout outs to DJs Mcbreezy, Steezy E, Petra, Olivas, Mode B, Tomii, Dean K, Suric, Van House, Toast Crew, Procyon II, Gumm, Luke Alessi, Dopamina and PLTZ.

BSV: Are you open for collabs? 
THE PDC: Yes, after the record for the worlds longest lockdown in Melbourne, we need more European DJs down under!

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

Stetson is a Dubai-based, Egyptian-born DJ and producer whose music captivates with a soulful fusion of Afro House, Organic House, and enchanting oriental rhythms. Since stepping into the music scene in 2007, Stetson has become a master at creating immersive, otherworldly soundscapes that resonate deeply with listeners. His signature style blends tribal percussion with mystical melodies, offering a spiritual journey through sound.

Signed to Farsha Records and Exx Underground, Stetson’s recent collaboration with Shika Saber on the track "Hawaliha" exemplifies his ability to weave culture and music into an unforgettable experience. Fenrir is influenced by the music from Artbat, Dmitry Molosh, Beyhude, Fabri Lopez, Guy J ,Monolink and more. When he was younger, John Digweed & Sasha had a big influence.

About 10 years old, he always wanted to hear the "strange sounds" in music. The strange sound was the synths. He started listening to Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Kraftwerk in his young age. The the 80`s came and synths were all over the music.
