BSV: Hello there and thanks for the submission! How did you find us? Google of your “Resilient” track maybe? 😉
ES.KA: I know your channel for a long time since we are supporting each other and l thought it would be a great opportunity to promote new project “Above Us“ 🙂

BSV: From progressive to melodic techno, from dark to hard techno. What’s your range in electronic music?
ES.KA: For my single project it’s something between melodic techno and peak time techno. Above Us aims for a more melodic and deeper sound like I used to play some years ago.

BSV: If we listen your production, it translates into “Eyes Wide Shut” feeling (sounds from the movie). That was your goal?
ES.KA: /

BSV: Tell us something about Illusions @ Haus33. What’s the concept?
ES.KA: Illusions is a melodic techno / peak time techno event which distinguish itself from other events at Haus33 by sticking to slower styles of techno instead of playing mostly hard techno like other events do.  

BSV: We found the info on Beatport about your first ever track (2021). How did you get in electronic music? When was that?
ES.KA: I started DJing 6 years ago in melodic and deep techno genre. In 2021 I decided that I want to make my own music which I can perform in clubs.

BSV: What’s behind your DJ duo artist name (meaning)?
ES.KA: It conveys the meaning that the music is always above us. We found that it has a good sound to it and we we're aiming for a two word name.

BSV: Is there maybe some interesting story about how you guys decided to do music together? Let us know about your long term goals…
ES.KA: The funny thing is that we know each other since we were kids. Didn't have contact at all for about 25 years and figured out that we are both into electronic music. Each of us in own project. So we decided to create something together. Long term goals would be getting in touch and getting collabs with more established artists and playing more shows.

Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of pop music, funk, European electronica and synth-infused 80s music, all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and video game music. 🙋🏻‍♂️ Case Chamber's journey into electronic music began in 2015 with his first festival experience. At this outstanding event, his deep connection to dance music was awakened. Following this, he started practicing DJing. Several months of training later, in May 2016, he made his first club performance in his hometown, Hildesheim.

🎶 In 2020, he expanded his artistic range by stepping into the world of music production. Staying true to his own vision, his musical spectrum is finely tuned to his preferred sub-genres, including groovy, bouncy, and minimalistic tech and techno. His sets are also carefully designed, blending atmospheric breaks and captivating drops to take listeners on an electrifying journey full of energy.

More than 50 years ago, I saw the light in beautiful Hamburg. Already in my youth, I discovered my passion for electronic music. Countless clubs and festival visits only deepened this love. As an absolute late-tinger, I decided to put on electro myself in 2020. In addition to some offers in the Hamburg club scene, I called the monthly podcast "Verweilmomente" with Lovely Melodic/Afro/Organic&Deep House Tracks into life in December '20 under the stage name Svensønsløve. Since then, it has been a great pleasure for me to take my followers on a journey of lingering.
