In a cadenced movement, we returned for another delivery in synergy with our greater purpose. The artist, who signs the 50th release of Prototype, is well known around the house. Marcelo Dominguez aka Doguez has already left his mark on our history before and now returns to a trio that lives up to the title.

It is through the unfolding of Techno with inclinations to Progressive House that the Spanish producer, based in Brazil, expresses himself genuinely, it only takes a few brief moments of listening to see what vibrates inside him.

In his new EP, he invites us to three stages that feature darker, darker and more mysterious variations. There's a lot of energy devoted to the synth layers. Sometimes elastic, sometimes tearing like bands on hard bases.

In the brief moments of lucidity, powerful ambiences, a breath for the listener who was trapped in the constancy of the whole. Disturbing can be a keyword here, but calm down, because to evolve you have to be disturbed.

BSV: Hello Dario! The concept of these guest mixes is to alternate artists from native speaking area and artists across the planet in order to spread the common “worldwide” vibe. You've been on electronic music scene for a long time. Are you aware that hardly anyone in the Balkans knows about you?
DARIO SUERTE: Hi, and thanks for having me on your show. Yes, it’s been a while since I first started releasing music, but I haven’t really given much thought to the fact that I’m basically anonymous in the Balkans concerning the whole electronic music scene. I guess I’m kind of a quiet guy, not really active on social media so it’s quite easy to go under the radar that way, but I can’t really say that it’s a good thing because you really need to be pushy to leave your mark in this line of work. Perhaps my approach to music is different because I don’t consider this work at all. It’s all about your inner-self, your emotions, state of mind, hopes and dreams, it’s part of who you are and not what you do. I did a couple of ex-yu remixes recently and posted them on youtube and got a really positive feedback. So I guess my Balkan fanbase is just starting to grow.

BSV: Please describe the feeling when you rendered your first track and when was that?
DARIO SUERTE: Like I said, it’s been quite a while since I started experimenting with music, but my first official release was back in 2008 under the alias Effective Thief. Being accepted to your first label and having your track released to the world is a unique experience, like the first time when you score a goal as a kid, or graduate from high school. It’s definitely a milestone in a musicians life.

BSV: Favorite effect? Is that filter?
DARIO SUERTE: This is a tough question. It really depends on the mood and genre of the track, but if I were to pick something out of the effects bundle I’d definitely say reverb and delay. There’s just some mystical feeling to the synth or drum you play when you add some of these two effects to them.

BSV: You were quite productive in last few months. Inspiration comes from?
DARIO SUERTE: Yes, I’ve had maybe 5 or 6 releases in the last couple of months. I mostly draw my inspiration from introspection. I enjoy daydreaming, deep conversations over wine, losing myself in music, nature, and having a positive outlook on life, so I guess I can say that I’m content with myself and my life in general. I tend to see beauty in everything and everything is inspirational to me…

BSV: How was this mix recorded?
DARIO SUERTE: During my previous years of DJ-ing I’ve experimented with various genres and styles of electronic music, but honestly I’ve always been loyal to the deeper sides of house music. So, I usually spend some of my free time to search for underground deep tech house, minimal, and deep tech tunes and do a mix session at home.

BSV: So, emotions guide you in production and mixing?
DARIO SUERTE: Yes, it’s a way of expressing my inner-self and parts of my mind and soul I can’t express with words and actions. It’s like peeking through a window and having a look at the hidden side of me.

BSV: Upcoming “Bliss” release is scheduled for @beatsoundvisions. Why BSV and where did you find us?
DARIO SUERTE: I’ve ran across your music online and had the impression that “Bliss” might work for your label just right. This is the second time I’m having my music released for a Serbian label and I’m really excited about the fact that more people in the Balkans might hear it. Fingers crossed!
