	Every artist has a signature. Mihai Popoviciu is no exception. For over a decade the amiable Romanian producer and DJ has built a body of work characterised by deep grooves, crisp precision, and irresistible energy.
	Mihai's singular vision was born in his home town Sibiu (still his home base) which, at the time, lay on the fringes of Europe's thriving dance scene. It was the early '90s. Electronic music was flooding London, Ibiza, Berlin but only a trickle reached his ears. "We would tape German TV shows onto cassette and listen over and over," he recalls.
	With no clubs, record shops or dance culture to speak of Mihai's dream of being an electronic artist seemed remote. He studied architecture and briefly worked in the field, but it was house and techno, not house-building, that was his true calling . "I couldn't DJ, because there were no clubs," he says with a chuckle. But he could buy software, so he started making records. Lots of records. Sometimes one per day, for months on end. The work of the determined young artist began to catch people's ears. His first track was signed to International Deejay Gigolo in 2005, and dozens of releases followed on imprints including Bondage, Highgrade, Poker Flat, Bedrock, Dessous and also his own label Cyclic, established in 2012.
	This calm determination became Mihai's trademark as his career blossomed from production to DJing. After honing is skills in the studio he learned to DJ (on borrowed decks) and began drawing attention in Romania and across Europe. Playing international gigs was a big move for someone who grew up only seeing clubs on TV but Mihai stepped up with professional aplomb. His CV now includes the best clubs in Europe and around the world, from Berghain and Watergate in Berlin; to London's Fabric and The Egg; to D-Edge, São Paulo; DC-10, Ibiza; and more.
	Mihai's ambition with every track and every DJ set, is to transmit the joy and energy that fuels his dream. "It feels great to see people dancing, smiling, having a good time. No matter what I do, that's the main thing." 
	He is equally at home in underground clubs or on festival stages. The one thing that stays the same is his artistry and irresistible delight in music. "Mihai was on his sound from the beginning," says friend and booking agent Benny Grauer. "It has a unique quality. Any time you hear it you know, "That's Mihai". He's done it for years, and it is perfect."

He’s been living in Berlin for a few years now and one can call him a jack-of-all-trades. He releases on Steve Bug’s label Poker Flat Recordings as well as Semester Musik and Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings.
His love is devoted to reduced House, Chicago House and Detroit Techno.
Nevertheless, he doesn’t really care about genre-boundaries. His DJ Sets promise euphoria, style and attitude. They live on the mixture of abstract melodies that are carried through danceable rhythms and percussive grooves. Daniel Dexter knows his way around music. He knows his job as a DJ. He owns a filed mixing-technique and an exclusive mixture of records. However, he’s also a party animal.

But who the hell is that guy?

In the beginning Daniel was into Punk music but then got fascinated by the new electronic music. The machine like sound from acts like Kraftwerk is what fascinated him so.
As young as the age of sixteen he bought his first DJ equipment. Looking for the underground in the Bavarian province he found it at illegal parties at factorials and empty buildings in his hometown Ingolstadt. The sets as a resident DJ were often longer than 7hours and the clubs were all wrecked and not even the drinks were on the house. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm was so high; he started to produce his own tracks. Just after the millennium he was torn to Berlin as something was happening right there and the sound he liked so much was just there. Through the first record releases he was very often booked as a main act. Because of his engagements he saw cities such as New York, Istanbul, London, Barcelona, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Tijuana or Helsinki. His music is nowadays found in the record bags of famous DJ’s such as Erol Alkan, Laurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Steve Bug, Tiefschwarz, Modeselektor, Jesse Rose, Sis, Nick Curly, Gorge and A-Trak.

When words & sounds collide. The Foremost Poets aka jOHNNYDANGEROUs has been reshaping Dance, Funk and the spoken word. jOHNNY is Philadelphia born, raised in Newark, New Jersey. He began his love for music as a Jazz Band & Drum Major in Arts High School & the Barringer High School band in the 1980's. He began his career as a resident DJ at Club America from 1989-1990, alongside DJs Naeem Johnson, DJ Camacho, Carlton Rosebure, DJ Slim, Messy Marv (Virginia), Kerri Chandler "The Great" & many others from Jersey. With many House Music greats, Johnny is one of the original 1990 inventors of The Deep House Sound through his own blend of future funk & spoken word. His career is replete with diversity, dropping a catalog of underground singles under two different names. In 1990, he released his first underground Foremost Poets single "Reasons To Be Dismal?" on Nu Groove/ SBK Records. A few years later, with no promotion, he dropped the jOHNNYDANGEROUs atomic bomb "Problem 13 (I Beat That Bitch With A Bat)" (1993). 

In 1998, Johnny recorded "MoonRaker" on Sound-Men On Wax (SOW) Records. This record crossed over into many styles of electronic dance music and can be heard in big rooms, festivals and local venues worldwide. All DJs from David Guetta to Funk Master Flex use jOHNNY's vocal acapellas as "DJ tools”. Known for various productions and remixes, his vocals are most frequently sampled and his sound is emulated worldwide.

byPaSt = „by Patrick Stratmann“ ist ein in Osnabrück ansässiger DJ und Veranstalter. Er ist Gründer und Head von GLEIS, einer etablierten Veranstaltungsreihe mit Schwerpunkt auf Techno, sowie von Audiogen, einem unabhängigen Künstlerkollektiv und Musiklabel. Darüber hinaus ist er Mitinitiator des gemeinnützigen Vereins Schwarzlichtgestalten und als Resident-DJ bei Zauberwald aktiv. Neben diesen Hauptengagements beteiligt er sich an einer Vielzahl weiterer kreativer Projekte.

Obwohl sein musikalischer Fokus im Bereich Techno liegt, zeichnet sich sein Repertoire durch eine stilistische Offenheit gegenüber vielfältigen Musikrichtungen aus. Seine Produktionen und DJ-Sets sind geprägt von charakteristischen Klanglandschaften und effektvollen Sounddesigns, die das Publikum dazu einladen, dem Rhythmus zu folgen und vollständig in die Musik einzutauchen.
