The reason I create music is beyond my ability to explain. But If I try to dig into it, I think that my body and soul, been using music as a healing tool long before I can remember. I assume that my deep connection to music was born way before I was even aware of it. 
Over the years I have experienced life to its extreme, for the good and for the bad. Music has proven itself as a life saver, since it was the only way I could express my inner feelings and communicate with the world. When I finished my 3 years serving in the army, experiencing terrible fights and death, I felt that something got broken inside of me.
Music was there for me, even though I was not aware of the fact that I can actually use it to heal my soul.
In my music you can listen to all types of moods (love and happiness to the other side of pain and struggle. with pop, rock, reggae, electronic, experimental and even psychedelic and classical. 

I move between, instrumental music and song writing.

Composer Joseph Bennie has been involved with classical musicians and orchestras from a very young age. Having composed music for film, television, theatre and gaming media from around the world, he has become more passionate about writing music that evokes depth and emotion.

After having composed for a variety of different Australian projects, advertising and gaming software development companies in the UK, Joseph focused his attention on producing music in the United States. Since then, he has produced music for the Discovery Channel, Harpo Productions and the CBS network. With music featuring on promotional material for “Criminal Minds”, “CSI: Miami” and many others, including customized scoring for the Oprah Winfrey Show. Known for his score to "Superman Requiem" and the NZ horror film "Restoration", Joseph is currently involved in various film projects in the UK and the US, including upcoming feature films, "Cain Hill", "Dark Ascension", "Trainset", "Dudley" and "MMXII".

From high impact epic scores to the contemporary minimalistic approach, Joseph is fascinated by film music and the way that a score can become a storyteller in itself.
