This month, Bunny Ross summons all things dub with a special guest, Summit Dub, the artist behind our latest release, Isotonic Projection.

We're dipping our toe into 50 years of technical experimentation and the evolving influence of dub (as we see it) with one of Seattle's finest dub techno selectors.

Founded by Bunny Ross, Interwave Surfer, and Sojiourn, and Restless Planet is dedicated to sourcing and promoting captivating music from both local and international communities. With a commitment to fostering timeless creativity, they’ve connected the PNW’s dance scene with global underground hubs through high-quality releases and memorable parties.

Shane Shumate, better known by his stage name Mascara (stylized as M△S▴C△RA) was an anonymous, prominent ‘witch house’ band starting in NYC.  Since 2010, his production and dj mixes have focused on a wide range of electronica and experimental noise, dark techno, & minimal house.

Detroit educated Josh Dahlberg has been producing music and DJing for over twenty years. His analog-centered approach blends house, techno, electro, and experimental; most notably as The Valley and the Mountain (abbr. TVTM). As TVTM, Josh explores the tension between nature and technology to create everything from moody dance floor grooves and atmospheric soundscapes. 

Largely his pre-TVTM work was released on his former Blank Artists imprint as well as the Richie Hawtin-founded, D-Records. His TVTM releases appear on Belgium’s WéMè Records and Dutch label Shipwrec alongside artists like Drexciya’s Gerald Donald, DJ Stingray, DMX Krew, JD Twitch, and Ceephax Acid Crew.

Known as a versatile albeit reclusive artist, Dahlberg continues to explore the vastness of experimental electronic music while honoring his house and techno roots.

Mike started playing and performing instruments in his elementary years. As a DJ he's been trusted with the direct support slot for Traumer, Kenny Glasgow, DJ Seinfeld, Harrison BDP and more.

A busy producer yet to make his debut release, you can hear Mike's unreleased music in his DJ sets and recent studio works on his Instagram.

Interwave Surfer is a Seattle-based DJ and co-founder of Restless Planet. His sets navigate the deeper ends of electronic music, blending textured minimalism with broken rhythms and groove-heavy house for a sound that’s both introspective and floor-focused.

Active in Seattle's electronic music community, he has played for parties and collectives like Makes Me Human, Soft Option, and Studio 4/4. He's had the opportunity to support a wide range of artists, including Harrison BDP, Tini, Paolo Rocco, Baltra, Liquid Earth, and Audiojack.

As one of the minds behind the Restless Planet label and events, he helps curate releases and experiences that tap into the West Coast's current pulse—always with a global mindset and a local heart.
