“Mother” by @niladevimama is dedicated to the Divine Mother in all things. Together with the sound of @marc-jb and William Llerena Murayari and their powerful presence throughout the album, from the first to the last song “Mother” speaks of the devotional nature of this album and of Nila’s artistry, which is inspired by her innate connection to her Gujarati Indian lineage as well as her connection to the Plant Kingdom. 

The sentiment across the songs is essentially about “becoming one with the Divine and experiencing the Divine in all things”, be it living or in the ether.

It opens with a powerful mantra which calls on the Divine Feminine energy of MahaLakshmi. Following this line, "Celestial Pearl" explores the romantic dance with the Divine and the telepathic connection between two souls vibrating in the same frequency and fragrance. It also references being reborn, to the Mother - or in Nila’s case, as the Mother - as a direct reflection or response to fully realizing Great Mother’s presence within. 

“Hablando a mi Corazon” (Talking to my heart) sings to the elements and the power of Pachamama (Mother Nature). The sensory experience of feeling the wind caressing the skin; the smell of the Bobinsana flowers; seeing spirits emerge from the majestic waters; are all symbolic of feeling the holy presence of the Divine, then merging into one with it all. 

As a teacher and spiritual guide on the plant medicine path, the plants play a constant and consistent role in Nila’s life and this is echoed in her music. Some of the songs were originally birthed in the jungle through communing with plant intelligence whilst in ceremony.

 You are invited to listen to this album from start to finish, as a healing journey, which concludes with a blissful meditation “Cielo Azul” (Blue Sky).

The intention of this offering is to bring peace and relaxation to the heart, and to call us into awareness of the importance of Divine Love, especially in these times. Divine Love is the Mother. The Mother is all loving, all forgiving, all encompassing. Let us live in reverence of the Feminine Force and the world will truly be restored to harmony and balance.

This upcoming release draws inspiration from the divine energy of the goddess Lakshmi, a presence associated with abundance, clarity, and the flourishing prosperity of a heart brimming with loving awareness.

"Sing Like the Birds" is an adaptation of the song Lakshmi previously released by Sam and Mollie. It's a transformative anthem, a powerful invocation to courageously step into a realm of freedom and joy. With lyrics that give permission to shed fear and shame, it beckons you to cast away the veils of hiding and make the choice to say yes to life, to love, and to the possibility of living with your heart wide open. Inspired by Lakshmi's symbolism of the lotus flower, which gracefully blooms atop the water while anchored in the depths, the song mirrors the journey of self-discovery—rooted in the depths of our being while blossoming into a radiant expression of the heart.

As Sam Garrett, Mollie Mendoza, Iyakuh, and Mose join forces, their collective artistry resonates in a symphony that transcends individual expression, creating a sonic tapestry that mirrors the universal call to awaken the heart. In the depths of the Amazon rainforest, a young native ventures into the heart of an imposing Tepuy. With each step, she feels the ancient presence of nature whispering to her soul. Her destiny is clear: to seek the source of the creation energy that lies at the top of the plateau.

Guided by the echo of her ancestors, the young woman ascends the vertical walls of the Tepuy, facing physical and spiritual challenges along the way. Upon reaching the summit, she encounters a landscape that seems to have been sculpted by the gods themselves. In this natural sanctuary, where sky and earth merge, the young woman immerses herself in deep meditation, seeking to connect with the spirit of nature.

After almost 4 days and 4 nights, no eating and no drinking; In the silence of a sunset, the young native feels an ancestral force flow through her. It is the same energy that gives life to the forests, rivers, and mountains. It is the primordial essence that nourishes the soul of the world. In that moment of communion, the young woman is filled with strength and hope, aware of her role in the evolution of humanity.

Descending from the Tepuy, she carries with her the wisdom of nature and the power of spiritual connection. Her mission is clear: to share this light with her people and with the world. With every word, every gesture, she inspires others to awaken to a greater awareness, reminding them of their sacred bond with the earth and all living beings.

Thus, the young native becomes a beacon of hope in a turbulent world, reminding everyone that true evolution begins with harmony between man and nature.

 The term "Tepuy" refers to the table mountains that are considered sacred places in Northern Amazonian Indigenous culture, symbolizing a mythical place of belonging for all humankind. 

This new release offers a unique blend of Cosmic  Ancient Tribal nostalgia, belonging, and commentary on the human condition in the face of these challenges that we facing right now, like Nature colapse and Human displacement. 

In "Tepuy", Berlin-based South American native, Intiche, and Chilean musician Rodrigo Gallardo, infuse the track with their deep fusion of organic electronic music , inspired by various ancient cultures and their journeys through South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Alejandra Lanza, Singer of TIMPANA, beautifully encapsulates this feelings of re-connection and search als embracing of fears and transcending them.

"SANTA JENE KAYAKA" is the name of this Shipibo Icaro and can be translated into "Soul of Holy Waters"

We recorded this improvised Shamanic Sound Journey on the Full Moon in Libra on March 25th 2024. The main theme for this full moon is to balance our relationships. How we relate to ourselves, others and our environment.

We indented to create a water blessing to bless the waters within and outside. Water represents life and connects us with our emotions, cleanses us and purifies to depths of our being.

Supported by the view upon the magical Lake Atitlan in Guatemala and its powerful energies we channeled this prayer to help you letting go of what is no longer serving you. To dive deep within your being and explore how you want your relationships to manifest and what shift is needed in you to manifest those positive changes in your individual and our collective reality.

As you dive in visualize your inner waters as well as all bodies of water on this earth being cleansed, re-coded and purified with the highest frequencies of love, light and gratitude.

Deep gratitude to "ChaiKuni Meraya" aka J'ezpere Njord for opening his heart and sharing his icaro medicine in this prayer.

Deep thanks also to El Suchi and Annika from Ixbalam in San Marcos for offering their sacred space for us to record this journey.

'Daughters' is a call for women to remember their inherent connection to the elements and reignite their relationship with nature. This song was channeled by a river at the Temple of Huachuma in Chavin de Huantar, Peru and came from the recognition that the earth is longing for women's presence - she misses us. That the earth needs women to commune with her elements as much as women need to be connected to nature in order to be whole. Through the elements, we return to our true nature - the wild, raw beauty & power that is the divine feminine.
