"WACOMAIA came as a gift from Spirit in a moment of deep transformation of pain into joy. The Guacamayo bird appeared and shone its light and colours into my heart, taking me into its wings on a flight through the power of the elements, the sun and moon, the earth, and Spirit-God-Conciousness, that which weaves all of life and love together in a divine dance of harmony and unity. The song sings with the energy of the Amazonian tribes, connecting to the power of joy and togetherness, as expressed by the term Wacomaia, originating from the Yawanawa tradition. After travelling many places with me in my heart, and being shared in retreats, song circles, fire prayers and ceremonies, the song touched the hearts of hermanos Naturritu and Jpool, who joined in and transformed it into an even more celebratory multilayered musical experience. May Wacomaia fly far and wide, into many hearts, bringing its essence of strength, joy and love into this existence. Aho Mitakuy Oyasin.
