So'ham - is the natural mantra, the mantra of your true self.
It does not belong to the East or the West or to any religion.
So'ham is the inherent in everybody, in all of us. it repeats itself continually,
along with our breathing. It is said that as long as this mantra keeps going on inside us,
there is life in the body. As soon as it stops, we are no more.
The meaning of So'ham is "I am That". ("god is within")
Through these two syllables, we contemplate our oneness with the supreme consciousness.
Through the ever going process of breathing, our 'self' keeps repeating this mantra - "I am that".

The album is waiting for some time to come out, now finally the right time has come.
The music is deep mystical ambient, good for meditation, deep relaxation or doing creative work...
Allow Yourself to travel deep inside the mystery and let the Atmospheric soundscapes
guide and inspire you on your journey within.

Carbon Based Lifeforms are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad from Sweden. CBL itself was formed in 1996, as an offshoot from other projects, but soon became their focal point, culminating in their first release on 'mp3.com' in 1998.

The goal of CBL is "to combine earth and space in fine-tuned, but still solid, musical visions, seldom forgetting the irreplaceable TB-303"

MAGIC CARPET utilizes Raga Bhairagi, a melodic scale containing the notes used in the traditional chanting of Sanskrit mantras such as the Purusha Shukta, Vishnu Sahasra Nama and other sacred texts. 

The luxurious pulsating groove along with the seductive Bansuri bamboo flute playing of Shyan Kishori, entices us to an encounter with the primordial mystery of an ancient time, as the haunting vocals of Shirin Sengupta guide us on a sacred vision quest to the core of our being.
