Clone of the old Univox Superfuzz, a derivative of the Shin Ei FY6. An octave fuzz with two position tone switch. Riff through on one tone select, then the other. Telecaster into Superfuzz, direct into Boss Micro.

Formed in 1971 ;) Carl grew up on a musical diet of folk, jazz, and classical music, before succumbing to the heady glories of rock-and/or-roll in a teenage daze. Thereafter, he played guitar and bass, wrote songs, and generally jammed out in various bands in the US and UK. 

Now based in Colombia, South America, the demands of fatherhood and family life may have, admittedly, slowed his output a bit, but have by no means dampened his enthusiasm as he continues mucking about with home-recording projects (thus being forced to add keyboards, drum programming, and -- gulp! -- vocals to his repertoire) while hoping that technology eventually makes online collaborations easier. :)
