The interminably long hypnotic voyage of the Spanish galleons across the ocean, which is often frozen, and which sometimes can be traversed through the air when the galleon opens its peacock wings. 

The aurora australis, the wafting of the song of the captain's daughter wondering if he loves her, since he's been gone so long and now he's gone again, for so long, so long. He's on the harrowing, death defying trip to support his daughter, though she hasn't developed the maturity to fully understand that. But will he bring her a crystal replica of the galleon as a token of his affection, so she can believe he loves her?

The men all nearly die, embedded in ice on their trip for unspeakable purposes. 

When the tattered fleet pulls into the marina, the daughter waits for the crystal galleon. When she sees he has it, she believes he loves her after all.

i'm sorry i haven't posted in a while - i've been working on several other projects, also i've been very distracted with school :(

Tape Malfunction

Stendhal syndrome is becoming overcome by awe for beauty they admire, such as art of historical importance, to the point of perhaps fainting, fast heart rate, bewilderment, and even hallucinations.

It was named after French author Stendhal because of his 1817 visit to Florence, detailed in the book Naples and Florence: A Journey from Milan to Reggio. At the Basilica of Santa Croce he described being in sublime beauty, celestial sensations, hearing everything deeply so that much it affected his body. 

I'd certainly like to think most people have glimpsed this state. I mean, what about a Rothko?

LADY BOOM BOOM

My second track of 2024 - a mix of Blade Runner and my musical influences, which explain the name: Electric Dreams. I love the synth sounds produced by Vangelis and I tried to add a groovy element to it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Electric Dreams

Danger is Strip's sister track. Spicier, heavier, sexier, a little bit more melancholic. Again, something I made for someone I love very much and who now happens to be my wife. So much happened since Strip, including you and I getting reunited. You know who you are and I love you.

Danger is also about the two extremes of our mind. The little devil and the little angel, the sadness and the happiness, the anger and the fun. As always, the darker side sounds very sexy, the allure of our saboteur is sometimes too good to refuse, but here we are, fighting it and trying to free ourselves from that dangerous, inner voice that keeps telling us bad things. This is what Danger is truly about.

Danger

I wanted to make something different, so I did. The Rising Sun is heavily inspired in cinema scores and a homage to eastern scales, chords and music in general. It is supposed to feel more cinematic, dramatic and the retrowave intro is just there to deceive you hahaha. It is the first of the a two part song. This one is about the rise of civilization, exploration and thriving. You can imagine what the second one is about.

The Rising Sun

Fever is a re-imagination of Heat, which is one of my favorite creations. I made it funkier, dancier and shorter. The concept is that it is more minimalistic and less aggressive than Heat, as this is a Fever. So it keeps growing and growing, and then it goes away. I love the idea of just revisiting older stuff at times and making it a different way and I hope you enjoy this one.

The Falling Sun is the continuation to The Rising Sun. The Sun pieces chronicle the history of mankind, from its beginning and maturity, to its possible fall. 

The sun is setting, but not the way you think so.
