The Reactionaries are are an alt. pop duo from East London and we are looking forward to making some NOISE.

Bringing together folk, pop, electro and punk influences and a DIY attitude The Reactionaries want to DANCE, they want to GROOVE and most of all they want to BURROW DEEP INSIDE YOUR HEADS and live there.

With manic energy, catchy hooks and offbeat subject matter The Reactionaries offer up strange and beautiful slices that will make your feet tap and your head snap.

The pair met when bouncing around with the other fruit inside a cloth bag. The bag was full of Apples For Everyone.

We live in different cities. We live in the same city. We live in the past. We live in the future. We meet up in the gap between. We make CD quality copies of that feeling. And we give them to you.

Apples for Everyone were in some ways more a concept than a band. In 2005 they assembled together around the idea of being a large band full of different musical styles and approaches that came together to make something. They carried on in various line-ups and combinations for 5 or 6 years. They took a democratic or collective approach to making music which may or may not have been a good idea. The band included producers as equal members and songs written by everyone. They gigged a hell of a lot. Sometimes they recorded and released music. Sometimes those recordings captured something of the band. This is a best of put together by their founding member Dave Pickering. It represents not the best songs that they made but his subjective opinion of the best recordings of songs that they made.
