Broadcasting Celebrity Kris Kourtis, was born January 23, 1983. He is a singer, commentator, author, and much more.  Kris began his career in 2004 after graduating from Columbia Academy into radio and TV. He ventured into TV during college. Kris's first dream was to become a singer but ended up doing radio and much more in media. In radio he first began as dj and then became a talk show host. 
 At the age of 4 Kris sang (Bad) by Michael Jackson to his entire family and friends. Kris loved singing. He won a lot of talent competitions as a kid. The most memorable one is when he won a singing competition for singing Hero by Mariah Carey.

At the age of 5 Kris and his family moved to Dubai. And for Kris it felt like home. Kris went to many different high schools because of his ADHD and constant fights in school.
Kris never liked school even though he had high grades. His favorite subject was Geography and he aced it.

He sang (Oh Holy Night) when he was 16 at his church and made most of the people cry. They loved it so much! Years later Kris was asked to sing (You Raise Me Up) the Josh Groban version at an event and it was a standing ovation.

After graduating from school. Kris moved to Vancouver, Canada to study broadcasting at the best broadcasting school called Columbia Academy.

Then Kris went on as an intern to different kinds of radio and TV stations. Kris was the first to cover the Kelly Ellard trial and he got an exclusive with the parents of Reena Virk,the girl that Kelly killed.

In 2012 Kris released a hit song called Together that went viral on SoundCloud.

Kris had 4 amazing octaves but he lost them because of his smoking addiction.

So Kris forgot about singing and ventured into doing commercials. His first commercial was when he was 10 years old and did and Ad for Snapple the drink. Then Kris took breaks from the broadcasting world and traveled across the world. London, England was somewhere very close to Kris's heart. Kris lived in Chelsea, London. He would often go with his friends to The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London to have afternoon tea. Of course Kris never drank tea, He would order instead a Soy Latte. Kris also has a weakness for Nobu the Japanese restaurant in London, Los Angeles, and Dubai.

Kris loves shopping at Harrods. He also loves American high end stores like Sax fifth Avenue and Rodeo Drive.

In 2016 Kris became a size zero model. And did jeans commercials.

Back when Kris was 25 years old he was on a trip to Bali and then cut the trip short because he began having paranoid thoughts and visual hallucinations. He went back home and told his mom everything. Kris admitted to his mom that he had to see a psychiatrist. So after a few sessions, Kris was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder. And began with medications. It was always trial and error for years until Kris found the right medications to take. Sugarstarr is a DJ and Producer, based in Vienna. In the Musicbiz since 1998 he had several #1 Club-Hits released on labels such as Spinnin‘ Deep, Enormous Tunes, Ministry Of Sound, Kontor, Positiva, Universal, Sony, Defected, Toolroom, Subliminal, WePlay and many more. The type of style that is typical for Sugarstarr can be described as Deep-Funky-Techhouse with Vocals & Soul. One of his latest releases was called "Hey Sunshine"​ an hit the #1 in the Beatport-Charts for 8 weeks in a row nad #2 All-Over . It's supported by the likes of Claptone, EDX, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, and many many more. The early releases and achievements in his almost 20 years lasting career was along his partner Syke. Thus the project was called Syke'n'Sugarstarr. They cemented their reputation as premier producers and DJs with a string of releases which where also supported by the A-League of the Electronic Dance Music Scene, incl. Mark Knight, Tiesto, Bob Sinclar Kaskade, David Guetta. One of the biggest tunes they ever produced was the collaboration with Housemusic-Legend CeCe Rogers and the reincarnation of the classic "No Love Lost"​ which was three weeks the "Essential New Tune Of the Week"​ of Pete Tong's  Show on BBC Radio 1. Back to Sugarstarr as a solo-artist, which he now embodies since 2014 with huge success. Beside a long list of releases such as "Ticket 2 Ride"​ "Are You Watching Me"​, "Like That Sound"​ or "My Belief"​  it's one more to mention here. It's about the 2014 collaboration with Redman & Method Man (Wu-Tang Clan) in a different way, as Goh. The track called „I Used To Be“ and sat well on the No. 1 position on Beatport for six (!) weeks in a row too. This newly created style combined Nu Disco with Rap & Hip Hop elements. But - the most appealing aspect of Sugarstarr is just how fresh he sounds. Both with his productions and his DJ'ing, which, as anyone who has seen him behind the decks will know, is as diverse and experimental as his studio work.
