This Soundcloud account is the page that hosts all 365 sounds from my project 365 Days Of Sound that I did in 2011. Here you will find 30 second recordings which can be listened to, downloaded and used in any way you see fit. Each sound has its own description so make sure you read it while you're listening. They are all under a part Creative Commons licence meaning they can be used by anyone but not for commercial use. If you would like to use these sounds for commercial purposes please email me at 365daysofsound@gmx.com and I'm sure we can come to a simple agreement.

This project turned from a little idea to something huge. As of today my sounds have been listened to 68233 times, my sounds have been featured on several blogs (including 3 times on Soundcloud's own blog) and I was made Soundclouder of the Day by Soundcloud themselves.

I am a Dutch illustrator and animator. I always strive for a simple image, with a clear message, without noise. I'm also an avid field recordist.

ABOUT THIS PAGE
This SoundCloud page contains my field recordings. An old hobby that grew big over the last years and gives me great pleasure. A lot of these recordings end up being used in my music and live performances one way or another. Follow the Einzelganger-link below to go to my musical project.

BINAURAL
Some of the recordings are 'binaural', meaning that the method of capture recreates an accurate stereo image of the environment when listened to using headphones. To enjoy this effect, listen to those marked 'Binaural fieldrecording' using headphones!

I use a Zoom H2, Zoom H2n and Zoom 4Hn recorder. Sometimes with additional Sound Professionals SP-TFB-2 binaural microphones.
