Vase Heart

This is a loop I wrote for a Unity Hub project -- more specifically, the 2D explorer game. I had a hard time programming it in the engine, but composing the music brought all the nostalgia from times when I used to play video games with my brother. I hope I was able to bring some sense of mystery and wonder in this short loop!

The explorer

My intention in this piece was to illustrate the many stages that a person could go through when receiving an inheritance: grieving the passing of the previous holder of the heirloom, the responsibility to take care of the property; the joy and provision it would bring, or maybe conflicting feelings about it if the object or property should be kept or not. And finally, making peace with one's own destiny.

Two electrical guitars sing and dance with each other in this ensemble of both modern and classical strings.

Unified String Theory

This song is about seeing generational patterns playing out in my life and simply observing, not feeling empowered to change. The title and artwork reference absurdist philosophy. I think I'd classify it as bedroom pop with some bossa nova flavor in the instrumentation/rhythm.

This track was written and produced to partecipate to the IndieMusicFeedback's (https://www.reddit.com/r/IndieMusicFeedback/) Discord "Flip the Sample" musical game. 
The sample in question was the guitar sample in F# Maj that plays during the intro and the chorus. 
I edited an acapella to fit the track and tried my best to have the track to sound good, I hope I managed to get some results ahah.
