From my score to the 2024 Canadian Stage production of The Inheritance (parts 1 & 2), directed by Brendan Healy.

Largely inspired by the work of Erik Satie; my first exposure to him was the cover versions of Trois Gymnopedies on the first Blood, Sweat, and Tears album. He eventually became one of my favourite composers, and this track evokes him particularly (along with some of Vladimir Cosma's score for the 1981 film Diva).

The Sickness

One of the earliest-ever Crimescene tracks (circa 1995). Although it makes extensive use of digital sampling, there was no sequencing involved, and it was recorded and mixed down on tape. Digitally remastered now by Richard Feren, it remains a seminal Crimescene piece, despite its crude production.
