Many of these tunes were on a Grooverider tape I heard which was the reason I got into Jungle so, in a small way, this mix is a tribute to the great man.

Live mix for Energy 1058 as part of their Tapepack takeover event.. Mission was to recreate / pay respect to a tape pack that was significant to each DJ.. My choice was a late 1995 set from Bryan Gee, from a tape pack called 'Euphoria - Jungle Flavour'(https://on.soundcloud.com/1zeSR). Anyone who knows me properly knows how much I love that set.. Rinsed it since I was a kid.. Did my best live on the night to give it the respect it deserves, I'm no Bryan Gee though clearly.. Big up to Energy 1058 crew and to Selectabwoy for the support (as per).. Peace..

Another off-the-cuff Jungle mix (with a few unreleased dubs) that will only be live for 24-48 hrs at most. These are my most fun sets when I'm trying to work out the tunes and mixes for the released sets. I do think no one gives a toss about Jungle Mixes anymore. We are spoilt with so much choice unless you are Sully or Tim Reaper making jungle mixes so noobs can hear the latest tune to DL, then I believe the art of making a memorable mix for the sake of the art is somewhat lost - if anyone disagrees please enlighten me. Anyway, this was fun making it tonight. It gets pretty loose towards the end when I stopped a tune by mistake and then my wife called from LA when I was on the last mix. I'm going to hear it again now - grabbing some beers! Cheers!
