I'd been reading Bob Dylan's 'Chronicles - Volume One' when I wrote this. I think Bob crept into the song - 'you go your way I'll go mine'. I had the microphone really close to the acoustic guitar when recording this, which produced the unintentional but interesting percussive sound of the plectrum on the strings.

I'd like to believe that the worst isn't true but looking in the mirror I'm not sure that I do,

Fairly simple song I wrote quite quickly (quickly for me anyway) with added attempted enlivening of final chorus by means of cod-orchestrals.
