Deep Weird

Planet D is an imaginary place, a dimension suspended between the real and the surreal, where electronic pulses intertwine with dreamlike atmospheres. It was a self-invitation to explore new sonic worlds, letting myself be carried away without a precise destination.

In my mind, a story began to take shape: a journey to a planet different from the one I am used to. The choice of artwork by Pianeti Sintetici perfectly captures where I found myself wandering.

I felt the need to distance myself from the sounds that have defined my path in recent years, opening the doors to a more instinctive process. No sonic planning, just a natural flow: immersing myself in the studio, letting inspiration guide me, and losing myself in the timeless dimension of creation.

Each track is a sonic universe that took shape as I explored it.

For the past two decades, Darren (FADDI) has proven himself to be an extraordinary talent capable of mesmerizing audiences, much like a masterful maestro. With a seamless blend of DJing and music production, he crafts unforgettable sets that intertwine rich harmonic textures with distinctive sonic elements. Each aspect is carefully developed and polished in his studio, showcasing his dedication to his craft. His passion for collecting and integrating modular synthesizers not only amplifies his innovative sound but also sets him apart as a true leader in the music scene. Him and Mark Casha runs project "Cubic", a local event series in Malta with great success and as a main purpose to spread the deep hypnotic techno love of them to the audience there.

MNMT 472 : Biocym

A collection of tracks inspired by my experiences in Cyprus. Hazy afternoons in the shade of a carob tree with tzitzikes chirping all around. Long nights with the thrum of the sound system echoing through the trees. Underground gatherings across the island hearing the psychedelic music, and the crowd drawn by it. With this EP, I explore the soundscapes and experiences that inspired me. Ultimately striving to create music that will make sense in a Lotus Parable gathering – indeed these tracks have been tested on forest dancefloors before making it to release. An attempt to capture the earthy atmosphere and ceaseless ritualistic groove.
