Mikkel Haraldstad and Uteklubb/UTE.REC co-founder Filip Storsveen (Oprofessionell) are Omformer, a driving force in Oslo’s flourishing rave circuit with a love for ominous rhythms. The Norwegian duo are intimately linked to their hometown’s musical mise-en-scène, from seeds planted at hole-and-corner forest raves they’ve grown and catered live acts far outside their Scandinavian stomping ground. They mainly focus on those in person gatherings but that hasn’t stopped them from releasing their debut EP UTE011 (August 1st on UTE.REC). Think progressive psy-trance with subtle allusion to IDM and you’re not far off their offering, looping compositions to lose yourself in, fast-paced transcendence fit for both forest floor and dancefloor. As you are listening to this, the people in Gaza are listening to the sound of genocide as the terror state of Israel carpet bombs hospitals, mosques, schools, refugee camps and other clear cut civilian targets while the elected leaders of the western world watch in silence.

Let it be known that in November 2023 when this mix came out more than 11.000 Palestinians including more than 4500 children were slaughtered by the fascist Israeli regime in the live streamed attacks on Gaza. At this point in time, it’s been more than a month of full-scale intentional genocide and documented war crimes and the western world has yet to condemn it and take action to push for ceasefire and negotiations to end the cycle of bloodshed due to the decade long violent occupation of Palestine.

Peachlyfe is a hydra-sonic electronic musician thats hook & seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the Fast Forward Agency. Peachlyfe’s productions and live sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ears owing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EPs “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan”, “Swamplyfe”, and “Against All Reason” are odes to that anarchic playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.Their recent EP “Boī\_(ツ)_/ ̄” serves equal parts juicy techno and epic trance with that Peachlyfe trademark:The shenanigans are continuously brought to yet another level. 

This Chalkboard TT mix is a live recording from Petra’s set when we had the pleasure to host them at “sideways” earlier this year (02.09.2023). It was a treat to be able to show Petra our little city and it has been special to have stayed connected since. Enjoy this 70 minutes of uniformed hard hitting kicks from one of the driving forces in today’s techno scene!

While Berlin's nightlife scene has a reputation for attracting a revolving door of people, those who are here to stay have had to witness the same painful cycle repeat itself over and over again: the best parties get too big, too fast and––due to forced venue changes and shifting crowds––lose their spark too soon.

RIDE is the lovechild of a group of friends whose bonds were forged on the dance floors of the parties, clubs and safe spaces that have been lost over time. Motivated by a shared need for a breath of fresh air in the scene, RIDE's founders pooled their talents, wisdom and experiences together to create an event that fills the gaps left by bygone institutions and that is, above all, a party they themselves would love to attend. 

After the prolonged uncertainty and stress of the pandemic years, RIDE burst onto the scene with the colorful and joyful energy of 90s club nights in New York and London.
