Vibronics, the future sound of dub, have been vibrating the world with bass since 1995. Their music is at the forefront of the UK Dub scene, proven by over 40 releases on their own legendary SCOOPS label as well as a host of albums, singles and remixes for a myriad of other labels such as Universal Egg, Jarring Effects, Dubhead and Jah Tubbys . In the studio they have worked with Zion Train, Iration Steppas, Macka B, Ranking Joe, High Tone, Big Youth and an almost endless list of dub & reggae luminaries. Wether dub-mixing live on stage, rocking the clubs or uplifting the festivals, Vibronics continue to perform tirelessly across Europe as well as in Asia, Central America and the Caribbean.

Vibronics come roaring out of their studio with 12 brand new remix collaborations featuring the cream of French dub artists … High Tone, Zenzile, Brain Damage, Weeding Dub, Blackboard Jungle, OBF and Kanka are just some of the artists to be re-worked in this one away international project.

3 x 10" single release on SCOOPS Records for summer. This host of killer new vocals include works by Demolition Man, Ras Tweed, Professor Natty & Echo Ranks as well as instrumental contributions from London's Ital Horns and Tokyo's Killer Sista Makiko.





Live and studio project started in 2009 by musicians Tux (dubmaster,fx) and Sabry (vocals, synth) from Bologna (Italy).
 
Ruff bass, acid upbeat synths, infinite delays and tons of wobbles are the trademark of Engine’s sound, surely part of that new generation of dub coloured by various music genres: from roots-reggae to its electronic descendants like stepper,jungle and dubstep.
 
Deeply influenced by UK & French new millenium dub era, they started to evolve their live style towards a new “psycho-steppa” way, merging the hypnotic energy of psychedelic vocals with militant-warrior style typical of stepper music.
 
They’ve shared the stage with international dub artists like Zion Train, Alpha & Omega, Mad Professor, OBF, Alpha Steppa, Jahtari, Mayd Hubb spreading their vibes in most of the festivals/clubs in Italy and Europe.
 
Revealed in 2010 with a 8-track release under free Creative Commons licence on “Irie On Air” net-label , they appeared on several european compilations before signing “Rude Boy” in 2011 on Dubatriation Records, their first 7″ vinyl release, killer Shaka dub tune.

DUB ENGINE è un duo composto da Tux (dubmaster,fx) e Sabry (voce, synth) fondato a Bologna (ITA) nel 2009.

Bassi ruvidi, synth acidi in levare, echi infiniti e tonnellate di wobbles sono il marchio di fabbrica del sound “engine”, figlio di quella nuova generazione di dub che ridipinge i propri suoni in una giocosa miscela di diversi generi: dal roots-reggae ai suoi discendenti elettronici come stepper, jungle e dubstep.

Profondamente influenzati dalle sonorità dub inglesi\francesi agli inizi del nuovo millennio, hanno iniziato ad evolvere il loro stile live nella “psycho-steppa”, un’originale espressione del dub in cui voci, effetti e basslines esplodono in un intenso impatto sonoro ad elevato contenuto psichedelico.

Hanno condiviso il palco con artisti internazionali della dub-music come Zion Train, OBF, Alpha & Omega, Mad Professor, Martin Campbell, Jahtari, portando il loro live-set tra i principali festival, clubs e centri sociali in Italia ed Europa.

Rilasciano nel 2010 la loro prima net-release di 8 tracce per “Irie On Air” net-label sotto licenza gratuita Creative Commons, prima di pubblicare per l’etichetta francese Dubatriation Records il 7"in vinile “Rude Boy”, tune in selezione fissa nelle sessions di Jah Shaka.
