For AnalyticTrail's third installment of the year we introduce Callum Plant's captivating four-track EP, "Farfalla." Emerging from the vibrant streets of Manchester, UK, Callum Plant brings a fresh perspective to the techno scene, seamlessly blending analogue sounds with hypnotic percussion to craft a truly immersive experience.
A true underground talent, Callum Plant lets his music speak volumes, earning him accolades from techno luminaries such as Truncate and Cari Lekebusch. With a discography that boasts releases on esteemed labels like Liberta, CODE Records, and Alleanza, Callum Plant's reputation as a dynamic producer precedes him.
The EP kicks off with "Painted Lady," where muted synth chords intertwine with swirling pads layered over high-velocity percussion. Next up, "Red Admiral" has a booming kick drum underpinning dubby synth chords and stabbing vocal textures. "Adonis Blue" is third on the release, and it blends gothic synths with soulful vocal tones cut by slamming percussion. "Comma" brings the release to a close with breakbeat rhythms and a menacing synth line that's got trippy undertones.
