As detailed in his interview with German publication Froh Froh, “the interview with Narciss was different. Colorful Hawaiian shirt instead of matt black, nicotine chewing gum instead of butt. In terms of content between kitsch, cutie, but also serious - no intrusive promo.”

This freshness truly comes across in his latest EP for Lobster Theremin. Dear Diary - releasing on June 4th - is an emotionally charged journey through smoked-filled rooms and packed-out corridors; lasers, strobes and wide eyes. As much a throwback to the golden era of trance as it is an ode to the producers techno aesthetic, it encapsulates an energy release - an escape from the grimness of the mundane, the fear of contemporary society left at the door as we venture further front left.

‘Ludmilla’ gets things started; a cut of tranced-out, progressive techno that builds and builds, emotional vocal stabs (“I need you”) further enhancing the connection between body and mind, listener and selector. ‘Tall People’ follows a similar route - deeper into the trance revival that has seen artists like Bliss Inc, New Members and Marlon Hoffstad producing some timelessly similar euphoria - it’s scenic techno, if the scene was an anime figure racing across a field on horseback.

The steady 4x4 rhythms are replaced on ‘It Gets Easier’; fast-paced sentiment that floats somewhere between breaks and garage, wrapped up in that signature trancey texture, before 'Blicke' featuring Ikki Mel shows us the door with a completely different take on the previous three moods; this time offering up an altogether harder showcasing of the rave sound with its classic synth stabs and uncompromising kicks.

Erik Yahnkovf delivers a raw and industrial techno EP with hypnotic grooves via Unrilis.

Unrilis is a longstanding techno record label that was co-founded by the late Rino Cerrone before his retirement from the music industry, and this is the first time that Erik Yahnkovf has featured on the imprint.
Based in Mexico, Erik Yahnkovf has been releasing music for over a decade on imprints such as Arjun Vagale & Ramiro Lopez's Odd Recordings, A.Paul's Naked Lunch, Ferhat Albayrak's Jeton Records, Chicago Jaxxx, and his own CAPRICORN. Erik's sound has evolved throughout his career, but he has always fused dark atmosphere with driving percussion and captivating synth sounds.

David Moleon is back on Italian record label Unrilis with a jackin' hardgroove techno release that combines raw percussion and analogue synths.

It's the second time that David Moleon has featured on Unrilis, and he once again showcases the same upbeat and percussive style he has made a trademark. Many know David Moleon as a veteran of the Spanish techno scene where he is famed for his three deck DJ sets. He has also produced tracks for respected record labels ranging from Planet Rhythm to his own Moop Up.

This release comes as part of the Rilis series that was originally founded in the late '90s to focus on music by Unrilis co-founder and legendary techno DJ, Rino Cerrone. The series was originally an outlet for Rino Cerrone's experimental tracks, but was relaunched in 2022 to showcase music by artists who share his same ethos and style.

Rino Cerrone retired from the music industry at the peak of his career over a decade ago, and recently passed away, making the Rilis series a memorial to him and his legacy.

Unrilis presents a collaborative raw and hypnotic techno EP by Fractious and Namhar.

Working together for the first time, Fractious and Namhar live on opposite sides of the globe. Fractious is a Northern Irish artist from Belfast, Namhar is an Indian artist living in Guwahati, and both are making their Unrilis debut.

Fractious heads up the RAW WORX record label, which has been a regular outlet for his own music, but he has also featured on other respected imprints such as Christian Smith's Tronic, Kaiserdisco's KD RAW, and Harthouse.

Namhar first made contact with Fractious when releasing an EP on RAW WORX, which led to a mutual respect for each other's music and inspired them to collaborate. Namhar has also worked with other imprints ranging from Diffuse Reality to Trapez.

Blending heavy trance synthesizers with broken beats and driving drums, the 3-track-release focuses on different shades of modern trance sound. The EP’s leading track "Papi", adds a layer of DJ Gigola‘s own hazy vocals. "Tender Trance" will be released June 14th 2019 in digital form as well as limited edition of 300 vinyl copies.
