Bård Aasen Lødemel, aka Skatebård, got into techno and rave during the '90s before he became a producer of retro-futuristic disco, house, and techno. 
Hailing from a town called Ørsta on the Norwegian west coast, Lødemel moved to Bergen in the year 2000, where he quickly became part of the town's growing club scene. 
After handing over a homemade demo to Tellé Records label boss Mikal Telle, Lødemel was signed to offshoot label Tellektro in 2001. 
His first release under the name of Skatebård, a concise vinyl-only album called Skateboarding Was a Crime (In 1989), was released in 2002, and slowly but surely Skatebård's reputation started spreading beyond Norway's borders. 
Throughout his impressive career of releasing five albums and more than twenty 12-inches, he has steadily carved out his own corner of dance music with a unique flair. Traversing a range of seemingly disparate genres and emotions comes incredibly naturally to the Norwegian artist, whose music oscillates between Italo disco and raw Detroit infused house and techno. With an enviably eclectic collection of the mastery to navigate it seamlessly, Skatebård’s DJ sets offer exploratory excursions through the unknown and unexpected. From festival mainstages to intimate clubnights, Boiler Rooms and radio shows, Skatebård has captivated audiences across the globe, performing at many of electronic music’s most revered institutions.
The dynamic scope of Skatebård’s artistry extends to his work in the studio. Spanning over two decades, his impressive discography is dispersed across labels including his own Digitalo Enterprises, Sex Tags Mania and Bordello A Parigi. With a knack for balancing kitsch with elegance, Skatebård creates music that exudes an air of nonchalant fun.

Radio Smederij is a weekly radioshow on Thursday. We are situated in Club Smederij in Tilburg.

Club Smederij is a nightclub at ‘De Spoorzone’ in Tilburg. The unique venue, which used to be a workshop for train engines, is a breeding ground for exciting dance events. Within the industrial and underground atmosphere there’s room for almost every electronical music genre variating from house to hiphop and everything in between. Club Smederij’s programming focusses on combining local and (inter)national artist for a perfect blend between new talents and established names. Club Smederij is not only a place for dance lover, it also has comedy, movies an theatre events.

Milion’s rise has been anything but ordinary - equal parts global reach and underground grit, his sound feels beamed in from somewhere just left of center.

Born in the Netherlands but raised between Switzerland and Australia, Milion was shaped by constant movement. Music became the one thing he could take with him everywhere. Now based in Amsterdam, he's bringing a distinct, high-energy fusion of house & garage to the dancefloor, with sets that are as fast-paced as they are emotionally charged.

Since touching down in Amsterdam, the gigs haven’t stopped. Sets at Awakenings, Lofi, and a breakout appearance at DGTL Festival alongside Lucky Done Gone helped cement his status as a local favourite, while releases on EC2A, Hardline, and Crystal Grooves showcased his production chops. Most recently, his track “LET’S GO B$NG” hit #1 on the Worldwide UKG charts, marking a breakthrough moment and expanding his reach far beyond the Netherlands. With exciting upcoming releases, Milion’s sonic fingerprint is only becoming sharper.

Whether he’s dropping cheeky pop edits, UKG originals, or bassline-heavy house anthems, Milion’s ear is fearless. His tracks and unrelenting energy have caught the attention of legends like Eris Drew, Job Jobse, Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Seinfeld, and Salute. His momentum hasn’t gone unnoticed by 3voor12 either who recently named him one of the top DJ talents to watch in 2025, highlighting his rising influence in both the Dutch and international club scene.

In a scene that thrives on evolution, Milion isn’t following trends, he’s setting them. And as his sound continues to expand, one thing’s for sure: this is just the beginning.
