Peachlyfe (they/them) is a hydra-sonic electronic musician that shook & seduced the Copenhagen fast-paced techno scene, claiming their seat along with the Fast Forward Agency. Peachlyfe’s productions and live-sets rebelliously weave across genres, trippy melodies cut with heavy slaps while slithering whispers in your ear sowing the dismantlement of the ‘cistem’. Their previous EP “All Tits are Real, All Money is Fake, All Hail Satan” is an ode to that anarchic-playfulness, a marvellous feat in blending rave-rush joy and queer defiance.

Technoasis Podcast Series 038 - Peachlyfe (Ved Siden Af DJ set)

Based in Copenhagen, the half Danish half South Korean musician Schacke has been producing sounds of a large variety of different styles since their early teens. Starting with a background in Metal, Noise, and Industrial, Schacke has continually shown a determination to expand and evolve their universe through the exploration of electronic music. Since moving to Copenhagen around ten years ago, Schacke has run an underground label for experimental music, co-owned and run the legendary Mayhem venue in Copenhagen, and released music under a variety of different aliases on local and international labels.

As one of the original members of the Fast Forward collective and agency, Schacke has played a significant role in shaping and defining what has become known as the ‘’Copenhagen Techno Sound’’, which they helped pioneer with their first two techno records on the now-defunct Ectotherm label between 2015-2017 started by Mama Snake and Courtesy. Schacke is also a resident DJ and event organizer at the famous queer sex parties by feminist porn production company ‘’Bedside Productions’’.

Schacke has recently used their musical versatility to make soundtracks for anything from porn movies, feature films, and runway shows for major fashion brands and designers in Paris and New York.

Schacke draws inspiration from a wide range of different genres, usually using techno as only a template to explore and make genre bending fusions using a mixture of unlikely sources. With the combination of hard-hitting beats and rolling baselines, usually mixed with catchy leads and euro vocals, their tracks are always bound together with a precise execution of delicately layered textures, making Schacke’s techno distinctly recognizable yet strangely unpredictable. His debut album 'Apocalyptic Decadence' is out now on Instruments Of Discipline.

The mix is a blend of new things I've made, and artists that caught my attention. Some things I was listening to in pandemic times and a few things that are very dear to me. I chose to depart from techno halfway through the mix and I got to play some music I don't usually get to play, that inspires me almost endlessly. I wanted to play with the way I mixed it and I chose to use a computer, purists be warned. But this way I can do all kinds of interesting spectral manipulation, I hope to explore this more in the future, as I felt like I only scratched the surface.

Anastasia Kristensen is no new name to the scene. Developing her passion for music throughout the past 10 years into a solid career while based in Copenhagen. Back home, she’s a resident for LGBTQ party Mainstream while often spinning at venues in Europe, the Americas, and Oceania.

Known as a selector and able to master the fitting moods - be it at a festival or a tiny basement, Anastasia leans towards energetic and eclectic styles, shuffling several genres and always serving somewhat avant-garde musical journeys each time. For releases, she boasts 3 EPs on Arcola and Houndstooth, both legendary London leftfield electronic music labels.
During the pandemic, Anastasia served a platform for 18 artists to create a charity compilation to support Equality Now - an NGO supporting women affected most by COVID.
