Recording of my set from Don't.. I played 00.00-01.00 After Aural Sects, before Bintus and Truss . Then for the last hour we all jumped on for a four-way back to back... Sadly the recorder died before capturing much more.. It's a great recording with both direct feed from mixer, mixed down with the noise of the crowd to give a feel for the vibe on the night :)

In terms of pure technique he’s one of the very best out there - cutting and scratching like a hip hop pro, but blending like the deepest techno maestros - but none of that ever comes at the expense of delivering pure pleasure to the dancefloor. Whether he's playing techno, rave, hip hop, funk and soul or anything else he turns his hand to, his first priority is always the atmosphere and crowd vibe he's creating. And his dedication to all that's best about rave culture extends to running his clubs and labels with the emphasis firmly on honouring the music, and doing right by both punters and artists.

Jerome Hill @ Dont 6th Birthday 25 - 05 - 2018

On July 21st 2018 I played a set at the Boombox club in London E17 as a part of Gordie's 72nd birthday celebrations. 
For those who don't know, Gordie is legendary figure on the London squat party scene who used to bang out (and still does from time to time) the fiercest and fastest hard acid Techno most notably on "Underground Sound" sound system, and I used to play alongside him most weekends during the late nineties and early 2000s. 
This was a bit of a reunion and a chance for all his old friends and sparring partners to wish him a happy birthday .. I played for an hour and Gordie played after me and the vibe was as lit as it used to be back in those days. 
This set is a re-recording of the one I played that night featuring all the same records plus a few extras that i couldn't quite fit in. 
Very much a flashback to the sound I used to play at the massive squatted warehouses back then..  Happy Birthday Gordie !!

Anyways its live on hardware (as was the only choice then) rather nasty but still fun..Tr-909, S950,Tb-303, Sh-101, Sequential Circuits Pro-One, Tr-606,, Atari ST and some other crap….The Peacefrog and Sativae acid years…."
