Für nachhaltige Zerstreuung, regenerative Euphorie & die globale Erwärmung des Weltfriedens. In Zeiten des Kulturpessimismus & der Gleichgültigkeit tritt die Allgäuer Band Rainer von Vielen für eine Erneuerung des Wertekanons der Menschheit ein. Um ihre Thesen unter das Volk zu bringen, sind Rainer von Vielen (Gesang, Programmiertes, Akkordeon), Mitsch Oko (Gitarre, Gesang), Dan le Tard (Bass, Gesang) und Sebastian Schwab (Schlagwerk, Percussion, Gesang) schon bis nach Sibirien gereist, um in ihrer Funktion als UNSL-Botschafter mit den Wölfen zu heulen. Rainer von Vielen erheben die Innovation zum ästhetischen Prinzip – US-Westcoast-Bass, Gandhi-Rap, Kingston-Akkordeon, Alhambra-Gitarre, Kilimandscharo-Drums, Himalaya-Kehlkopfgesang – die Band nennet es Bastard-Pop. Am 31. Januar 2014 erschien ihr fünftes von Jürgen Schlachter (Kinderzimmer Productions) abgemischtes und von And.Ypsilon (Die Fantastischen Vier) gemastertes Studioalbum. „ERDEN“ heißt das Werk. Entstanden ist der Großteil der 14 Titel unter revolutionärer Lagerstimmung am Staatstheater Hannover. Dort hat die Band im Jahr 2012 zusammen mit Intendant Florian Fiedler vom „Jungen Schauspiel“ das zeitkritische Theaterkonzert „Mythen der Freiheit“ geschrieben. Die Band fordert darin die Abschaffung der Freiheit weltweit und die Unterwerfung aller unter die Diktatur der Verantwortung. „Empört Euch!“, „Niedermauern“, „Du bist nicht allein“, „Wenn die Welt untergeht“ – Titel aus dem Bühnenstück, die ohne große Worte die Stoßrichtung erkennen lassen. Die zeitkritischen, fast zynischen Texte treffen auf klassische Liebeslieder und anscheinend leichte Popsongs, mit denen sich die Welt erklären lässt. „Nicht alles was man kann muss man!“, sagt die Band zum digitalen Konformismus und bleibt sich lieber selber treu. Das von der katholischen Kirche verhängte Auftrittsverbot als Reaktion auf das Lied „Großer Bla“ empfindet die Band als große Bestätigung. Die Initiative von Dr. Sigmund Freud, die Religion als gesellschaftliche Neurose entlarvt, wird weiterhin unterstützt. Auf ihren Tourneen verwandeln Rainer von Vielen die Konzerthallen in ihre Wohnzimmer der Emotionalität, feiern Messen der Kreativität und erteilen der Ekstase die Absolution.

And maybe if the message can spread enough, we can put a stop to this dehumanizing situation, and find solutions that honour life instead of this divide and conquer colonialist grab-what-you-can-get mindset.
