Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil vor Talent's cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 12th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Matias Rojas aka M.Rojas to the label for his debut EP. Based in Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist first made his name as a DJ, sharing the booth with some of his country's greats, such as Soundexile, Mariano Mellino, Kevin Di Serna, Simon Vuaranbom, Mike Griego, Facundo Mohr, Marcelo Vasami and Juan Deminicis. 2019 then saw Matias begin to produce, eventually landing releases on Balkan Connection and Clinique Recordings. Now presenting his first release of 2021, M.Rojas debuts on Dopamine White with ‘Ruderalis'. 

Beginning with the title selection Matias explores traditional progressive house sensibilities. Tough yet warm, a well contoured groove sets the piece in motion as striking percussion adds swing to the framework. Dynamic effects and arpeggiated fragments converge for heartfelt moments as the first act unfolds, before haunting chord changes transfer energy into the main break. Tastefully tranquil, the centerpiece heightens emotion, as a wave of noise sparks the arps and groove to drop for a thunderous finale. 

The companion piece ‘Girl Scout Cookies' follows with an equally enticing storyboard. Once again backed by a buoyant foundation, it's a maze of cosmic effects and heartfelt melodies which slowly saturate your senses. Haunting overlays sweep across the framework, adding emotion with each successive loop, while spine tingling modulation highlights a glowing break, before eventually sparking a powerful finale. It rounds out a stunning two track offering from M.Rojas, who makes an excellent Dopamine White debut.

Blue DeerMon born from the syncretic union of the God Wixarika (Huichol) "Tatietse Kauyumari," Our dear older brother the Blue Deer "and the famous fighter Blue Demon.

The musical influences of Blue DeerMon are very wide and diverse, so it is not uncommon to hear in their presentations reedits and mash ups of songs from the most diverse musical movements such as new beat, industrial, elektro, dark wave, rock in English and Spanish, which mixes with the most avant garde tracks of Techno music of the 21st century.

Blue DeerMon's sets are full of spatial sounds, rough bass, and dark melodies with which he creates musical stories full of vibrant and energetic atmospheres that make ravers dance like crazy.

Blue DeerMon's performances are like a shamanic ritual in which through elements such as his deer mask, the use of incense and Techno music, Blue DeerMon brings attendees to live an experience that may well be compared to a mystical journey.

Blue DeerMon since the beginning of his career has been a resident dj in the best electronic club in Mexico: The @baramericas in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He has participated in festivals such as RMX212, Boca de Iguanas International Festival, Dreamfields México or Burning Man. He has performed in city clubs in León, Guanajuato, Colima, Manzanillo, Querétaro, Morelia, Oaxaca, Cholula. And he has mixed in different events with great producers such as Héctor, Luis Flores, Pleasurekraft, Stephan Bodzin, Betoko, Siavash, Pinto, Balcazar, Hot Since 82, to name a few.
