Free spirited duo River Roots are a singer-songwriter acoustic folk-roots couple from UK, delivering conscious, mind opening music from the heart.  Immerse yourself in the healing harmonies as the good-vibes and positive energy uplifts your soul.
Inspired by the profound experiences and connections they have made on their travels, River Roots take the audience on a unique heart felt journey.  A gentle transition, as they seamlessly weave between soothing melodies to funky upbeat feel-good songs.

Matt originally from Leeds, kick started the musical journey while the duo were travelling Australia 2012.   Inspired by the beautiful surroundings and easy going vibes, his flow of creative writing was ignited.  In 2015, the music naturally became a co-creation as partner and vocalist Gem originally from Manchester, blended into the mix, evolving the music into River Roots.  The chemistry between the singer-songwriter soul mates is real, and their authentic selves shine through their live performances.

River Roots are self-taught, self-managed, independent musicians, and hope to spread the message to people to follow their dreams. Do what you love and build your life around it.

Reaching far and wide, River Roots tour internationally, performing at 20+ festivals each year, including: Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown Fair, Beat-Herder, Green Gathering, Boardmasters, Bali Spirit Festival (ID), Pachamama (CH), Luminate (NZ).

2018 marked the release of their self-titled debut album.  Their songs have been featured on Radio BBC Introducing a number of times.  Their popular track 'Bare feet' won best folk song of the year on the '2020 Reddit Grammy Awards'. 
Their upcoming sophomore album Coalescence will be released July 2020.

Since grade school, Avira has been immersed in choir, dance, and the world of music. Her love affair with electronic music took root on the pulsing dance floors of underground raves, eventually leading her to the transformative world of conscious dance. With roots in both rave & festival culture as well as conscious dance spaces, Avira possesses an eclectic and expansive range.

Avira curates her sets with an intuitive blend of celebration, soulfulness, and emotional depth. As a cross-genre artist, she crafts immersive sonic landscapes that resonate with diverse audiences -whether bringing vibrant, bass-heavy, and festival-driven frequencies to a party crowd or inviting deep, soulful embodiment within intimate conscious dance spaces. 

Her music has been described as a luscious blend of dynamic, whompy, vibrant, world, bass, and house music - designed to move not only the body but also the heart and spirit. Whether her sets are high-energy celebrations or more contemplative journeys, Avira’s versatility allows her to serve a wide range of communities - always emphasizing joy, radical self expression, and love.

A transformative journey through the unknown space that created in a real time musical session.
“Kulam” means everybody in Hebrew, each and every one of the participants and musicians is taking a significant part of the journey. 
Every journey is followed by different musicians with one high intention - to totally surrender to the ecstatic motion of the voyagers, to sense their vibe and emotions, and to transform themselves into a live open channel of divine creativity - and together we may reach to high level of conciseness, awareness, and deep ecstatic state of being.
The intention of this experiment is to explore the magical state of "here and now", help connect humans to their source of their spontaneous being, and to achieve a common frequency of bliss & harmony.
We are travelling around the world with the invitation to gather talented and sensitive musicians and create one-time sessions- if you are one, please let us know.
