@martin-noise is a DJ / Producer from Buenos Aires, based in Barcelona, dedicated to the research and the experimentation of new sounds oriented to the dancefloor. From downtempo songs to listen at home, through music inspired by the new wave, the creative force of the jungle, the power of organic elements and psychedelic experimentation to the most convincing music for the club.

He is one of the founders of @playgroundrecords and its
current director.

His sets takes you on a journey full of sequence and rhythm playing music from a tempo 90 bpm to 121bpm . In 2018/2019 his been featured in Festivals such as NUITS SONORES, OFF SONAR, FUSION & BLECK FOREST, traveling to 8 different countries playing

FAUSTO

Fausto, producer and DJ born in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. In 2016 he debuted in the Mexican electronic scene with his EP "Yo Mismo" gaining recognition indie circles resulting in an Indie-O Music Awards nomination for "Best Electronic Album".

Some time later Fausto started experimenting with dancefloor music with major releases on international labels such as Roam Recordings, Nein, Turbo Recordings, Tom Tom Disco and national labels Phisica y Controlla and La Volta Ros. From the latter were born Descontrol and Fantoche (ft. Michael Fortvne) with which he got an important media noise at the end of 2018 and 2022.

After well-received incursions on NEIN and When Disco Goes Wrong, London-based producer Ian Vale is finally back on the rising & shining British imprint Paisley Dark. Greco—German powerhouse Local Suicide and Slow Motion Records affiliate Radondo join forces on their ethereal remix of ‘Animal Power’. Alexandria's vocals weave between twinkling arps and an ominous call and response between synthesized vocals. We’re transported to the dimly lit realms of their respective tastes.

Feinstoff label head Freudenthal snaps ‘Sirin’ into action with a euphoric reimagining of the original. Soaked in Feinstoff’s contemporary Nostalgia and subtle nods to post-punk, Freudenthal readies the remix for the Summer. The remixes all carry the thread of Feinstoff’s abundance of arpeggiated dance-floor magic.

Bucharest’s Walentin Pauer provides a melodic flip of ‘Sirin' with flashes of Electro and an almost C78-style drum pattern. With cosmic-style FX and washed-out hi-hats, we are led to a powerful dark wave payoff.

Borusiade transforms ‘Animal Power’ into an emotive, cinematic soundscape riding a gently oscillating arp, which builds to the wails and cries of Alexandrina’s climatic vocals from the original.

Rounding off the remix EP with conclusive flair is Mathmatrix’s mix for ‘Magnetic Eyes', a cathartic, anthemic piece weaving through flashes of alt-pop. The vocals sit beautifully within the mix's crushed edges, resulting in a breathtaking meeting of visions.

The latest addition to Roam Recordings features San Francisco veteran artist Shiny Objects aka Chris Smith. A pillar in the Bay Area community Chris Smith is the founder of San Francisco’s Om Records, Smoke n' Mirrors, Up All Night, Monarch & The Great Northern. As a producer he has released over 100 tracks and remixes under the Shiny Objects moniker and other aliases. For his second release on Roam, Shiny Objects delivers two stunning original tracks. The title track Bad Acid is a gritty dark chugger with a post punk feel while Disco Death Child is a deep shimmering groover that’s nice and easy to get lost in.

Joining the EP is Italian producer Rodion who has a long discography of innovative and provocative music. His remix of Bad Acid is dark, edgy, and further proof that he is, as Mixmag/UK calls him, the “new genius of Italian Dance music”. 

Also joining the EP is Mexican producer Iñigo Vontier whose creative productions and remixes have not only made him a sought after artist but have also come to define the new sound of Mexico’s bustling underground music scene. His remix of Disco Death Child is further evidence of his well earned reputation.

All four tracks come together into an accomplished and creative EP and a fine addition to the ever growing Roam Recordings catalogue.

In the studio the red lights flickered abruptly upon the various machinery. He had spent decades collecting obscurities and instruments of fortune, the bits and bobs from behind the scenes that no man would risk their money upon. Now within his tiny room he spent every single night jamming away at the meandering hardware in a robust attempt to bring it all back to life. Few from the outside world were familiar with his methodology or plans but soon they would be at the mercy of his mind and matter. 

DJ OIL returns to the infamous Lddlm with a three track EP of weighty prominence and abstract electronics. It would be unjust to simply describe them as dancefloor orientated but they work bloody well. Seek and you will find.
