Description: My first original track for a while after having put out a few remixes - I was trying to capture something with a bit of positivity - let me know if you think this does the job!

I wanted a fairly simple repeating pattern to begin - I like to gradually build this until it becomes this, kind of, multi-layered sonic landscape..

I was really pleased with the change in the chord progression here - again I wanted to create a gradual build to something really sumptuous!

This simple bit of guitar work over the top helped to add the cherry on top of the sound that gradually builds.

Winter

Music makes things better. I try to evoke emotion in the music I make, as my favourite types of music do this to me. I take inspiration from all sorts of places and am influenced particularly by music from my childhood, including John Carpenter soundtracks and Commodore 64 computer games. I also really love John Hopkins' work and aspire to create a piece of music as beautiful as 'light through the veins' one day.
