A song I wrote yonks ago but didn't play too often because it felt a bit too salacious/sordid - but my friends keep reminding me about it! So here it is!

30 Day Girl

This is a song I wrote back in the late noughties. I've always felt like I'm faking being an adult and that, at any moment, I'd be rumbled by a passer-by, a work-colleague or a friend - pointing angrily and shouting "He's not a real grown-up! He's only pretending! Quick, let's duff him up!"

This song was one of three that made into the fantastic 'Shared' acoustic compilation album curated by Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff back in 2009.

It's a song about feeling very fiscally challenged but looking around me for 'riches' - and realising that debits/credits can take many forms.

My girlfriend at the time was considering moving to Australia. It would appear from the lyrics I took this prospect rather badly!
