Electronic..acid house...chug...and more!

Milica Kulic a.k.a DJ April is a DJ, Music Journalist and PR from Bosnia and Herzegovina. With over one decade of dedicated experience in the entertainment industry, she has honed her skills in crafting exceptional guest experiences and curating engaging entertainment programs. Throughout her career, she has successfully played, organized and wrote about music events, cultivated a collaborative culture, and consistently delivered impactful results. Since 2019 year she has been working as Resident DJ at largest cruise ships globally, traveling and performing for audience all around the world. Beside moving for work to USA, doing UK season sailing from Southampton, DJ April is also known for her strong ties with the Belgrade underground party scene and as a PR for famous Moondance Festival, based in Trogir (Croatia).
Her sets for places like Klub 20/44, Toxic Bar, Zaokret... are highlights for a lot of electronic music lovers in the Serbian capital. 
Performing for Acid Electric Halloween Festival 2018 alongside Tyree Cooper and Pero FullHouse, has also been a huge highlight in her career. Audience in Croatia really liked her long summer sets at Dubrovnik and Trogir too. 
In her sets you can hear different shades of electronic music, but mostly she has affinity for hypnotic acid and electronic sounds. She has been in love with Electronic Music since the Gymnasium days when she was visiting parties organised at the (then) underground clubs in her home town (Banja Luka). After that, love for Electronic Music and energy continues through her job as a Journalist as she writes many articles for various media broadcasts and reports audience from the best parties and electronic music festivals organised around Europe. 
Although the desire for the "other side" of the stage has always been present, she took first steps as a featured DJ in the band Grand Afro Papas 2015. Shortly after that April started to work as a solo act at many places in her hometown getting known as a DJ who prefers quality vibes.

The Shizzle is a weekly radio program on 99.9 BAY FM (Byron Bay) exploring a diverse range of music from the now, yesterday and tomorrow.  A show that touches on  psychedelia, techno, post punk, disco, house, leftfield electronic music, downbeat, world exotica & more. I have a very loose music policy - if I like it I play it.

I am a passionate dj and music fan who is happiest playing to an adventurous dance floor. Originally from Melbourne I now call the Byron Shire home. In Melbourne I presented various electronic music radio shows on 3PBS FM, was a founding member of the Global Eyes music/art project and a regular fixture on Melbourne’s underground dj scene spinning at intimate affairs through to clubs and larger festivals including Earthcore,  Rainbow Serpent & The Eclipse Festival. I love playing music to a smiling crowd from intimate gatherings through to larger dance floors.
