Brame & Hamo are two chaps from Ireland who seem not to be able to make any mistake in their releases and online sets. Everything is just dope. Their killer release “Street Urchin EP” on Dirt Crew had to be repressed by popular demand. Brame also released on Drumpoet and Morris Audio. 
Whats so special about these guys is; they found a way of combing Hiphop and House in a way we have never heard before. They pull it of perfectly! Something this podcast will prove.  
Also good to know; they just started a new Vinyl only label Splendor & Squalour, we so happened to hear some previews and it sounds mint! 
We think their style can be described as uplifting strong Deephouse, with a flavour of HipHop and distinctive synths and stabs. 
So check out this podcast. It has some surprising factors!

Big up to these young fellas. We hope for a prospective future, we can not see it any other way!

Florida based Phasen returns to UM Records after a hugely impressive remix of Greenfish in 2014. The EP reprises several releases that featured on the now defunct 5 and Dime Recordings along with a brand new rework of the title track Digital Block. The EP sees the long awaited return of Karol XVII & MB Valence and the highly rated Loz Goddard (Large Music, Open Bar) making his first appearance on the label. The EP opens with Digital Block (Phasen 2015 Remix) and a sound that perfectly reflects Phasen’s characteristic slant on electronic deepness. Throbbing and techy, weaving and wandering in glorious style. The Karol XVII & MB Valence Loco Remix of Off The Cuff, by Phasen and sometime production partner Refurb is a pure dancefloor tune that’s brimming with energy and menace - a must for the darker moments of sets. Loz Goddard’s remix is another club orientated track, with chunky jungle beats and drifting chords - watch out for the break down it’ll ignite the room when it drops back in. Finally comes the original Digital Block. A dreamy deep house affair that brings the night to a calmer close.

Turkish electronic producer Omerar Nanda essentialy takes music as one of the central themes of his life and, rooted in the sounds and philosophies of a new tecnological and social era, he certainly did not skimp on the effort to incorporate traditional ethnic folk rhythms into a contemporary electronic music. 

For his downtempo debut EP whose title come from the made-up word 'Soulve' (soul+solve), he is pointing out the moot fact that no one really knows about soul clearly, even tough we know is forever changing. Then, by this line of reasoning, this three-track package shows off his own perspective about the soul's unresolved riddle. 

A meticulous instrumentation background featuring tempting voices, mesmerizing cadences and a huge sense of connection, briefly describe this rich piece of work that even the most distracted listener won't be able to deny; we cannot ignore this calling.

Our penultimate release on Ready Mix for 2017 comes from Portuguese duo Maria and Luis, making their label debut under the 'Ohxalá' moniker to present us with their latest triple tracker 'Sereias do Planeta Vermelho EP'.

The title track 'Sereias do Planeta Vermelho' reflects the pair's obsession with ancient instruments and traditional sounds from Brazil, Africa, Portugal and beyond. Jungle sounds play with tribal percussion and haunting flutes, punctuated by subtle electronic touches in this hypnotic and idiosyncratic chill-out gem.

Also making his Ready Mix debut, spiritual sonic explorer and maker of 'shamanic psychedelia', Lemurian turns in a scintillating remix, making the most of the exotic parts and adding a few of his own to build a soul-stirring Deep Tech bubbler.

Second original track, 'O Barulho do Gizo da Cobra' blends eastern percussion with birdsong and a Brazilian spoken word vocal to create a sumptuous and languid vibe, reminiscent of Thievery Corporation. 

On remix duties, nomadic Latin producer MiRET adds a hypnotic hangdrum and some heavier percussion to suit the deepest sunset sessions.

For the final original track 'Berimbal Regionau', Ohxalá once again blend instrumentation from across the globe with somewhat darker electronic touches to create something that sounds almost like acoustic dubstep. 

Supplying the final remix of the package, Chilean musician and producer Rodrigo Gallardo takes the track into a flute frenzy over potent organic rhythms and guitars.

In part three of the Babiczstyle journey where we are following the fabulous creatures, this time we dive into the world of emotions even more deeply. All five tracks are unified by the expression of absolute artistic freedom and break up with old, stuck patterns.

Fans of analog gear will be incredibly happy with this record full of beautiful, soft tape noise and creative colourful modular sounds. Every careful listener will notice that all music made here is produced with the highest level of quality, effort, affection to detail and, of course, a lot of love.

In track number one, we witness a dialogue between an electric piano and a spanish guitar. While the keys are lost in a melancholic mood, the string instrument clears up the sadness and declares that ‘Everything Will Be Alright’.

‘What Matters Most’ unfolds the full spectrum of a truly epic electronic symphony. You won’t even notice the extra length, because already after a few beats you get totally drawn into the sound of this emotional travel.

Next we meet a ‘Bear On The Move’ – a piece of music which possesses the same characteristics as the peaceful animal: positive, cosy, comfortable, but always with a certain strength. Furthermore, the characteristic deep bassline spreads tranquility and wisdom.

Dub techno lovers will be very happy with ‘Echo Me Please’, a really trippy piece for after- after hours.

At the end of this part of the Babicz journey we climb on ‘Mind Mountains’, a place where you can easily get lost in wide sound, inner thoughts and manifold pictures which are evolving while listening.
