The restless and dramatic feelings fleed into this track with some mysterious vocal snipplets, creating unexpected atmospheres. arabian-styled female breakdown with a pitched bassfull return to the dancefloor. This is the New Normal we all need to adjust.

A few weeks ago I received a message if was interested to do a live guest mix for TRIBE radio on AMW - FM (Amsterdam's Most Wanted).They even asked me to play my darker side. That immediately produced some twinkle in my eyes. I still don't know why, it just did.

On May 31st I arrived at the studio, located at the old docks of Amsterdam. Big industrial buildings all around and no housing nearby. The studio itself is placed in a smaller building laying semi underground and fully made of 2 feet thick concrete walls. The sound system, private dancefloor and suitable club lighting create a small club atmosphere. All together perfect ingredients to make it a genuine mini party. And partying we did.

The invite was for a live set of an hour for their 2 hour show but I ended up playing the full 2 hour show. I had an amazing time, am grateful for the invite and eventually decided to make a Basement Session of my entire set I played. This is the full 2 hour set I played live at Amsterdam's Most Wanted FM for TRIBE Radio.

For legendary UK dance label Bedrock's 200th release, John Digweed & Nick Muir invite German DJ & producer, Jonathan Kaspar, to remix two of their tracks to mark this special occasion.

'Live Off The Grid' was originally released in 2014 as part of their 'Traveller’ album, a collaboration with anonymous sci-fi writer John Twelve Hawks. Jonathan Kaspar's remix increases the tempo of the track, and juxtaposes the deep mysterious spoken-word vocals with elegant, futuristic synth samples.

Jonathan Kaspar's second remix is of John & Nick's 2021 track 'Stand Still’ that was a stand out feature on the Quattro album. Jonathan Kaspar underpins the floating synths with a thumping beat, driving throughout the track and transforming 'Stand Still' into a deeper, darker dance track.
