Starting out as a duo, the Commix name has graced some of Drum & Bass’ leading labels since coming to prominence in the early 2000’s, and the debut album, ‘Call To Mind’, holds the honour of being the first solo artist album for historic label Metalheadz. The lead single, 'Be True', has long since cemented its place in Drum & Bass history as an anthem on the grandest scale, and the album itself was incredibly well received across the electronic music spectrum and is widely regarded as one of the best D&B LPs of all time.

As a DJ his focus is on the deep, the experimental and the musical. Drawing on his wealth of experience in both Drum & Bass and 4x4 based genres, he joins these styles together in a mesmerising weave, defying genre and categorisation, that cements his reputation as one of the most respected artists in the scene today.

Having first come to prominence in 1999 when he was signed to LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking label, Makoto has steadily, consistently carved out his own groove in the world of Drum and Bass, with his trademark expansive jazz and soul-inflected workouts garnering critical praise from all corners. Having worked with a veritable who’s who of the scene, with releases on Zinc’s Bingo Beats, Fabio’s Creative Source, Hospital Records and numerous collaborations with DJ Marky, Makoto now releases his first EP on Apollo records.

For Ney Faustini, it's about the music above all else – and this purpose resonated with some of the main events, clubs and festivals in Brazil, such as Dekmantel São Paulo, Rock in Rio, DGTL and Boiler Room. Based on his predilection for the artistic movements of Detroit, Chicago and London, this DJ and producer was able to cross generations, remain firm in the face of the everchanging trends, burst bubbles and absorb the different vertices of club life, supported by a collection of records that expands his three decades of research and denotes his tireless creative effervescence. With performances and collaborations as broad as his musical repertoire, he has established himself as one of the most relevant artists in Brazilian dance music.
