I am a long time visual artist and writer, working on a series of 'Ikonic Mixed-Media Constructions' or (Sacred works of art that span the ancient unearthed to the contemporary). Likewise, I am deeply engaged with writing (music reviews, art and ideas). I love music, everything from 'early music' to classical music on the margins to progressive rock to avant jazz to ambient electronics and techno. I wish to always engage with new and interesting music, while helping to disseminate and share it with others.

Bruno is a classically trained musician, producer, and composer based in Barcelona who writes for strings, piano, and electronics. 
His first recordings were released in 1991, and in 1998 he started as a producer for ad21, a personal platform and label that has released the majority of his albums (2016’s The Poet was released by 1631 Recordings and Decca Publishing, while Unity came out on Russian label Dronarivm, in 2018). He has also collaborated on several projects with the labels 7K! Moderna Records, and Thesis. 

His Piano Textures series, started in 2007, is one of Sanfilippo’s most representative set of recordings, but he has also gained wider recognition in modern music –  one of his piano compositions formed the basis for Canadian rapper Drake’s seminal hit, ‘Started From The Bottom’.

In addition to recordings available on streaming platforms, Sanfilippo has a series of solo and collaborative albums that are available exclusively through Bandcamp, some of which were released by American labels between 2008 and 2012. 
Sanfilippo regularly performs at various live and multimedia events, and at festivals all over the world.

These are strange times. Everything is different. One thing we know, for sure, is that Jane Weaver continues to metamorphise...

New album ‘Flock’ is the record that Jane always wanted to make, the most genuine version of Jane Weaver, complete with unpretentious Day-Glo pop sensibilities, wit, kindness, humour, glamour...

It features an untested new fusion of seemingly unrelated compounds fused into an eco-friendly hum; pop music for post-new-normal times. Created from elements that should never date,its pop music reinvented.

Still prevalent are the cosmic sounds but ‘Flock’ is a natural rebellion to the recent releases which sees her decidedly move away from conceptual roots in favour of writing pop music.

Produced on a complicated diet of bygone Lebanese torch songs, 1980's Russian Aerobics records and Australian Punk.

The musician’s exposure to an abundance of lost records served as a reminder that you still feel like an outsider in this world and that by overcoming fears you can achieve artistic freedom.

It’s a consciously positive vision for negative times, as is the title track, a brooding andethereal song that stop/starts, like a cool jazz breakdown playing at the end of the world café. It underlines the discordant pop vibe that permeates ‘Flock’ and concludes on ‘Solarised’, a super-catchy, totally infectious apocalypse, a radio-friendly groove for last dance lovers clinging together in an effort to save themselves before the end of the night.
