"Wants you to know" is one written for the ladies.  It is a post-breakup song about a strong, bright, beautiful, and confident woman who's been hurt, broken, and moved on.  She leaves town and leaves the past behind her but she isn't running away, she's running to her future and on to amazing things.

The lyrics starts off with a brand new day, going out for a ride in a hot car and feeling good.  In the second verse, she's leaving town but she's not running away.   She's "running to her future" and doing so with a new tattoo.  People tend to get tattoos for meaningful things and changes in their life.  She's making a big change and moving on to bigger and better things.  When the chorus comes in at the end, we learn that she threw away everything she was given in that bad relationship, the memories have gone away so whoever hurt her means nothing to her now, and she wants someone to know.

Time is elusive. It proceeds swiftly in a straight line, always forward and without waiting for us. Being on this continuous and unstoppable path, leads us to ask ourselves many questions about the present and the future.
