Early 90's , Matt and Peter were drawn together with the inevitability of a binary star system settling into orbit around each other in the final years of the 20th Century. Their music and songwriting partnership was the product of time spent composing music, writing lyrics, performing and mining the rich seam of popular music, from punk and dance to love ballads and hard rock that have shaped the musical mindscape in recent years. From the loud and the slow, to the underground and the pop, they were ready to bond words to music, tune to lyric, to create songs that had their own distinctive style – Thunk and Disorderly. Ripping musical conventions apart, they melded tunes and words into songs that stripped human experience to its bare essential and laid the roots of happiness and pain plain for all to see. This wasn’t a heroic project; it was a labour of love, of form, of rhythm and rhyme, stipped naked of pretence, open to all with ears to hear and eyes to see. Music, friendship, kinship of spirit, personalities that meshed and clashed and rejoined in a new pattern, these two guys twisted the notes, wrung the words, warped the conventions and found themselves the parents of a squalling child called Thunk and Disorderly. Join them on a trip down the lane of your experiences with the soundtrack of their work walking alongside you.
