The rain field recording felt inevitable as a starting point—once in place, the chimes followed naturally. Two measures of gentle drones and a few understated piano notes later, and the piece settled into a safe haven. Nothing more felt necessary.

I definitely believe Joy Division is the greatest band of all time. Are they on the gold record in the Voyager spacecraft? If not, humanity has made a mistake. Probably just a launch date that was too early!
