The Snug Recording Co. is a recording studio and rehearsal facility based in Nottingham, UK.

The studio was initially founded in Derby in 2006 by Robin Newman and Richard Collins after taking over The Hive Recording Studio which they had been managing in years prior to that. In 2020 the studio moved into the JT Soar studio in Nottingham. They still own, manage and run the studio sessions and you can read any updates, news and opinions they may post on the News / Blog page of our website.

MJ Hibbett & The Validators have performed live on Radio One, had a Record Of The Year in Rolling Stone, an Album Of The Day on 6Music, released one of the first ever viral videos, toured the UK and Europe, featured in an Edinburgh Fringe Festival show, and recorded a science fiction rock opera, all while maintaining their complete independence from outside record labels. They've had a bloody good time doing it too.
