The recent return of Joni Mitchell to the stage is a deep emotional experience for me and so many others that grew up with Joni and her music.  Her artistry painted my youth in the most vibrant colors of poetic imagery and her songs have left such a timeless and beautiful footprint in my own growth as a singer-songwriter. She is incomparable and breathtaking even more so today at 80 years of age. A beautiful canadian gem that will forever shine throughout this world's musical history.  As someone said recently "how lucky are we to live in the time of Joni".  I am so very grateful to Brandi Carlile whose loving care and support for Joni has allowed her to return to all of us.  Their remarkable bond transcends pure magic and joy.   I can't think of a better time to share my own version of Joni's song "A Case of You" I recorded at home in 2014 as we honor and celebrate her lifetime work of art.

Floating Downstream

When the weather changes and summer is just around the bend my spirit and mood lift and I can't wait to join my pals at the ocean.  Nothing like the sun, sand and waves to know it's gonna be a great day. I hope it is for you as well.  I wrote this in 2017.

It is true music becomes "like fine wine, sweeter with time". I am part of the boomer generation and the golden age of singer songwriters and so grateful to have the privilege of growing older.  If you're in your youth now I bet the music you love will follow you through your life as you age when new and different generational music is the trending sound of the day. A little bit about me...
I have written songs and played the guitar since I was a child.  I always dreamed that some day I would do something with my music.  Before I knew it I turned 50 in 2007 and finally did something with the hundreds of songs I have written.  I started to record them and share them online with you.
