On August 16, 2018, Aretha Louise Franklin, the "Queen of Soul" left this earth with her voice, music, life and legacy forever at the top and peak of American music history.  I don't know how many times I have heard her songs raise such jubilation in me and make me a much better dancer then I could have ever hoped to be.  Here I try in my own white way to sing and play "Respect" as a tribute to her and how her songs have moved mountains within us.

I played my acoustic guitar  on this and also my electric gibson with a guitar pickup to synthesize the sounds of the horns by playing notes.

A little bit about me...
I have written songs and played the guitar since I was a child.  I always dreamed that some day I would do something with my music.  Before I knew it I turned 50 in 2007 and finally did something with the hundreds of songs I have written.  I started to record them and share them online with you.
