"Got up this AM.  After 96° heat yesterday, at first light, it must have been 70° and it was pouring.  Perfectly framed, in the only part of the sky I could possibly see on my way into the kitchen in the house, was an impossibly enormous, vibrant rainbow.  It nearly ate up the whole sky.  I swallowed hard and went back for my phone so I could get a picture.  Oatmeal, aplles and walnuts.  Then, back to the studio.  It's apart from the house; a studio apartment.  There was a notification.  It's going to be one of those days."

Climate.  Politics.  All bad news.  News getting olds.  Family.  Wife.  Children, now adults.  Mental health.  Deep-rest.

I had seen a video on one of those poetry slam channels.  It ripped my heart right out.  There was another upload from the same artist.  It was going to be one of "those days."

This is a song we felt compelled to learn a few years ago, and we feel the need to post it now.  There is no time like the present.  Like our other tracks, it was performed at a local low-income senior housing complex for a very forgiving audience.
