Back into the ever wild Mashup territory once more! 
Time to be bad girls (or boys), while we mix these two tunes respectively by マクロスMACROSS 82-99 and Justice to create a bumping mashup :D The version of “Bad Girl” I’ve been using here is the Bootleg Remaster by the ever great Dj CUTMAN, which I decided to subject to a massive treatment as it mates together with big French House beats. Cover the eyes of your children... but open their ears! :D

Fresh from an outstanding sold-out live show at the Barbican for EFG London Jazz Festival, British electronic collective Submotion Orchestra will release their fourth album Colour Theory on 19th February 2016 via Counter Records and will tour their stunning live show in March and April across the UK and Europe, including a landmark gig at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire (11/03).

Colour Theory is a new benchmark for Submo - an expansion of their cinematic, highly textured electronica to shape a record of immense poise and epic scope. Drawing on a stellar cast of collaborators including Andrew Ashong (Sound Signature / Which Way), Royce Wood Jr, Catching Flies and, of course, the amazing Ruby Wood, the album embodies a new confidence and dynamism exemplified by 'Kimono' (streaming now via CLASH) - a truly stirring, shimmering four-to-the-floor groove reminiscent of John Talabot.

1888, South West England and I'd spent a rumbustious summer running a Hook-a-Duck stall in a funfair in Weston-Super-Mare, glugging cider, chomping pasties and flirting brazenly. I'd also given away too many prizes to imploring, doe-eyed maidens, apparently fit and sane, but bizarrely hopeless with stick and hoop. Though sometimes rewarded with a canoodle, it eventually tried the patience of the pug-ugly stall owner and he sent me packing.

Tried the Severn Tunnel rail crossing for the first time. Had meat sweats anyway, having snarled my way through a roast leg of mutton, pilfered in revenge from the stall owner's caravan. Trees and shrubs sped vanishingly past. The train felt like it was going 200mph. I imagined the steel and iron to be white hot as it hummed and clanged. We descended sharply into the earth; darkness overcame us, the light of a table candle lassoing the inkblack air. The boy opposite had found wooden dentures and I saw flickering images of him with huge grinning teeth and wet eyes, staring at me. The old lady took the opportunity to move the seams of each item of her underwear,  into comfier crevices. Her husband broke wind furiously,  believing the darkness would be unable to assign blame. The young spinster prayed so fast, clasping a hankie that the Lord might not quite catch every utterance. An invisible dog left a warm, aromatic triangle on my trouser leg, before snuffling away. For my part, all bravado vanished. I thought of words to soften and minimise my sins when confronted by St. Peter.

Suddenly, daylight, sweet sunshine, and survival. Never again,  I thought.. all for progress but this is insane.
