Discovered Mikado at a daytime sandwich cart in Florence, just before heading to the countryside. The track stood out instantly—I Shazammed it, talked to the cart owner about Ele A, and knew she was next up.

This dub version strips it back, pushing the groove forward with deep, rolling bass and hypnotic textures. A late-night warehouse feel while keeping the essence of the original intact.

Submergent Sound - Universal Language

My third live set "Tribe Ascension V" is a 1 hour Bass, Dub and DNB mix. Pieced together over the course of yet another relentless week of sleepless nights spent selecting, mixing and producing. Tribe Ascension V wraps up with yet another of my original (unreleased) tracks and is written with the sole intention of curating "feel good posi" vibes throughout, with only but a few intentional dips to the dark, emphasising contrast between those moments and the otherwise surrounding light. 

Tribe 5 was pieced together in track order, start to finish - and contains both mixing and production challenges which pushed my boundaries both as a producer (in studio) and as a DJ (live performance). Tribe 5 is best enjoyed on a warm spring/summer morning around 11am-12pm, and may be enjoyed by a selection of Doof baddies, forest dwellers, some* yoga enthusiasts, and all manner of Fae and flow arts performers alike.

As a whole piece, Tribe 5 explores the edges around the felt weight of light-based music. Actively navigating towards rising moments of joy and euphoria, often upholding the positive experience of the listener in favour of careless wandering towards increasingly available "darker" musical directions. Tribe 5 aims to touch on the themes and story of choosing light, the enduring human spirit, and embracing the beauty of the natural world over a cybermechanised and expanding digital prison.
