Dear listener,
finally this year, I managed to see the man burn!
In the weeks and months before Burning Man a lot of my friends kept on telling me how amazing it was and most of them would conclude their eulogy with something like: „Burning Man changed my life“.
Well, I can not certainly say that Burning Man changed my life, but what I know for sure is that my life changed afterwards ;-)
Very glad that I made it to this far away place and I hope to return next year.
I want to thank Lio and everybody at our nice camp and of course the robots who invited me to let their hearts beat according to my pace. It has been truly amazing. 
The only thing I really had to struggle with, that Sunday morning on the Playa, was the sunlight that made it almost impossible to spot anything on the display, so please please please you geeks out there, come up with something that can work in sunlight, because we all love the sun!

We are so excited to have one of our super talented friends, the adventurous Elif with us with our 33rd podcast. She has put together a great mix with a great back story: 

"When Deep House Vancouver asked me to do a podcast I was so excited because it's been a while since i prepared a podcast and i realized how much i missed it! 
I have been posting my sets from DJ gigs but no podcasts lately. In a gig, the DJ picks up vibes from the crowd and it almost becomes a collaboration between the DJ and the crowd. When it's a podcast or a mixtape there's no crowd present, so the DJ needs to set an almost imaginary vibe and take people on a journey. The listeners don't have a saying in this one, not directly or simultaneously at least. No interaction, they turn on the music wherever they are and just surrender to it and let it take them from wherever they are to whatever vibe the DJ imagined and i think that's a different and special kind of connection, almost like time travel and telepathy. 
I love music so much and my love goes beyond genres and bpms. I wasn't even sure what kind of tone i wanted to set for my DHV podcast. I started picking tracks without paying attention to bpm or the energy. Just tracks that make me feel something and that i want to share and tell a story with. 
After getting more into the prep of the podcast my heart went for a more downtempo and chill vibe with melodic elements and soothing vocals. I love playing darker and proggy vibez at gigs and i realized i was looking forward to setting an more relaxed mood. Maybe that was what i needed myself. I was even feeling a bit uneasy these days and preparing this podcast was an emotional release for me. 
I love listening to podcasts like this at home chilling after a night out or a busy work day. Whatever it is, it’s a change of mood, a relaxation a surrender. I hope you enjoy this one with similar warm and easy emotions."
