Label of the moment Space Grapes Records was born out of a late-night studio session with Another Taste band members and their co-producer Danilo Plessow, MCDE. Now headed up by Bobby van Putten and Plessow, dynamic Dutch funk collective Another Taste return in the spring of 2026 with their second full length album on the imprint; another must-have collection of tasteful original boogie, funk, and obscure disco that is full of heart and soul and lovingly recorded live to tape.

After lighting up clubs like KOKO, The Jazz Café, Tresor, New Morning, and festivals Love Supreme, Lost Village, Nuits Sonores, Hamburg Jazz, Lowlands, and ADE, Another Taste has surfaced from the studio with an arsenal of seriously heavy weapons. The album showcases Another Taste’s collective at full strength: Barend Lippens, Bobby van Putten, Bob Roche, Teun van Zoggel, Sarina Voorn, Diogo Carvalho, and Florian Verhagen. Together they summon a sound that is electrifying, communal, and unmistakably theirs! The album sees them joined by Arp Frique and the Perpetual Singers and is bolstered throughout by a dedicated brass section.

First out of the gate is the sweet soul funk jam ‘Run Into Love’.

Following years spent contributing killer EPS to Dam Swindle's Heist Recordings, Outplay founders Fouk (AKA Daniel Leeseman and Hans Peeman) make their debut on Jimpster and Tom Roberts' Freerange Records imprint. The Dutch duo sets the tone with title track 'Get It Done', where jaunty piano stabs, warming chords, disco strings and heady vocal snippets and a chunky bassline dance atop a s chunky bassline and swinging, loose-limbed garage-house groove, before unfurling the string-drenched and emotive beauty of 'Floating'. ‘Room 28’ is the consummate title track. Building with such a vital confidence it’s impossible not to shake down. Trust us; your soul will surrender the second that Latin piano licks you deep from the speaker. Dig deeper for the slower, more gradual ripples and filtered flourishes of ‘Runnin’ Away’. Proof that samplecraft is an endless pool of creative possibilities; you’ll feel you know this already but at the same time it’s like meeting a new mysterious stranger… And you need to know more. 
Deeper again Joss ups the energy with ‘Queency’. An unashamed pumper fresh for the sunnier seasons, instant lockdown guaranteed. Finally we check out of room 28 with ‘Seventh’. Phil Weeks is a house music purist. Whether DJing or producing, the Parisian with the huge personality delivers raw beats influenced in equal measure by
classic Chicago house and nu‐school French flair, underpinned with a hip‐hop attitude. His long running Robsoul Recordings also defines him as one of the
most skilled label heads in underground house music.
In the studio Phil is dedicated to classic hardware like Akai’s MPC 3000 sampler and Roland’s TR909 drum machine. He has released more than 250 tracks and
remixes since his debut in 2000, working with labels including 2020 Vision, Music For Freaks, Brique Rouge, Detour, Adult Only and his own Robsoul, which
is responsible for the majority of his original output. 

Phil’s work can also be found in the collaborations Fries & Bridges (with Hector Moralez) and PS Project/Bubba Beats & Kid Piston (with DJ Sneak). Production highlights include Phil’s three albums ‘Love Affair’ (2011), ‘Yeah I Like That’ (2003) and ‘Raw Instrumental’ (2012), alongside style‐defining singles ‘Hypnose’, ‘It Put Me Well’ and ‘All Day Every Day’. The music has been
heavily supported by international dance press including achieving accolades such as MixMag’s and De‐Bug’s ‘Album Of The Month’, while DJs ranging from
Danny Howells and Yousef to Mark Farina and DJ Sneak consistently play his tracks. Behind the decks, Phil has racked up enough air miles to take him around the
world several times over, with appearances at the world’s leading house clubs ‐ Queen’s Club, Sankeys, Circus, Ministry of Sound, Back to Basics and Stereo are
all regular haunts, alongside his Paris residency ‘Get Underground’ at the infamous Rex Club.

Phil has also fully embraced the relationship with his fans and house music fans in general – whether through his popular ‘Underground Chronicles’ video diaries
on Youtube or his personal relationships on Facebook.
Despite his success Phil isn’t one to brag. To him it’s all about keeping proper house music alive. Which just goes to prove Phil Weeks is a house music purist.
